My windows are frozen shut. I tried to lower them to swipe my card for the parking garage and they were stuck. Hadta open the door and get out to swipe myself in.

And I just discovered that my trusty, insulated North Face boots have a little rip in between the leather and the rubber that's exposing the insulation. Looks like they'll have to be replaced (which is fine, they're at least 7-8 years old at this point).

you sure it isn't your battery?

Don't take this the wrong way, but do you know all the ways to jump it?

Try leaving it hooked up for a while to the other car, then when you try and start your car have someone step on the gs of the other car and really rev it up while you try and start yours.

Take the battery to an auto parts store. They'll test it fro free. If the battery is dead, jumping won't help.

Yeah, I took mine out to put the fuel line antifreeze stuff in it on Friday or Saturday night and it's been so deadly cold out there I haven't been back outside since. Really hoping it starts tomorrow, especially since I just got a new battery LAST January.

So Indiana's DOE has said schools won't have to make up Monday or today. We are still out tomorrow…the country roads are still frozen over…simply too cold for them to clear up at all.

Normally, I get cabin fever but I've enjoyed being lazy and warm inside the house the past few days.

It very well could be the battery. It is probably 2 years old. I left it hooked up for quite a while and revved the other car up to get it going. I may try using Heet tonight to see if that is the problem. I'm not sure if it matters, but all of my lights, radio, etc work.

Take out the battery and get it tested. Any auto parts store will do that for free. Most of them will charge it for free if the battery will still hold a charge.
