BYU rolls New Mexico today, and I am stoked for the Holy War this coming weekend, nothing would top off the Season for me better than a sound thrashing of the Team up North!!!

Go Cougars

I'm not talking about that specifically. These fake and then try to screen plays are just ridiculous. Why has Clark Harris completely dissapeared from the offense? If you don't trust him to catch the ball, than play Sam Johnson who is a much better blocker.

1 Dead, 1 Hurt in Kan. Fan Bus Accident
Nov 18, 9:02 PM (ET)

LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) - One person was killed and another critically injured in an accident involving a bus carrying Kansas State University fans to Saturday's football game at the University of Kansas, police said.

The one-vehicle accident occurred around 11:30 a.m. less than two miles from Memorial Stadium. Few details were available by late afternoon, and police would not identify the dead and injured except to say both were male.

Lawrence police Sgt. Paul Fellers confirmed that both were passengers on the "Cat Tracker," a retrofitted school bus that takes Wildcat fans to games but is not affiliated with the university.

The injured fan was taken to University of Kansas Medical Center, where he was in critical condition.

Hospital spokesman Dennis McCulloch said the fan was being treated for a head injury and that his identity would not be released Saturday.

"The family understands the public's interest in his condition but requests prayers and privacy," McCulloch said.

I hear all these people(not so much here) talking about how bad the defenses were in "THE GAME"; why? Those defenses are a heckuva lot better than what I'm watching in the Cal/USC game. The corners in the Pac-10 are just bad. The score says its a defensive battle, which it is, but I would bet quite a bit that it will be a completely different story in the second half.

It's as if someone sent Corey Bramlet, who single handedly torpedoed Wyoming's season last year as QB to Rutgers to destroy theirs.

Meanwhile, Va Tech is blowing up Wake Forest 24-6 with 7 mins left to play.

And Ole Miss still leads LSU 14-7, early in the 3rd qtr, and the Rebels are driving at the start of the 2nd half.

And I'd still rather see them lose and get out of this national title debate and win their bowl game at the end of the season, rather than get torpedoed by someone in the end. It'd have been nice to even get into the national title debate, but...a Hollywood script would imply a one-time ascent to the national stage. I think that sustaining it would be better and it's not as if this team wasn't flawed.

Still, bleh. What a freakin' way to go out.

LSU cuts the Ole Miss lead to 17-10. 5:26 left in the 3rd.

Va Tech handles Wake pretty easily, 27-6 is the final.

Amazing.. Badgers could jump three spots in the BCS.

Get a good performance in the Capital One Bowl and we could be #4 by season's end! What a turnaround after starting the season at #33.

I think we can still come back, we just need more Mike Teel, more dropped passes, and definitely more 3 yard pass routes when in 3rd and 7 situations.

I think this actually surpasses losing to Villanova at home to my lowest moment in Rutgers football history. It's not the loss, it's the fact that Cincinnati is absolutely destroying them. And Mike Teel needs to be drawn and quartered.

Well New Hampshire in 2004 was a much worse loss. The way they lost to West Virginia in 2001 is also worse.

Teel is horrible. He has the worst tunnel vision by a QB I've ever seen.

Here's from their p-b-p log.

Putting things in perspective though, a 9-1 Rutgers that should beat Syracuse to go 10-1 and still has a shot at respectability with a win over West Virginia, isn't exactly shades of 0-11 or something.

No, they won't win a national title or get a shot at it. But then, no one thought that was going to happen anyway. I think losing now is good. Gets all the national media attention off of them, Schiano worried me when he was doing all of those interviews anyway this past week and gets them focused on what they've been doing all year prior to this -- chopping wood.

I'm just happy they'll play in a bowl this year against someone other than Arizona State. Rose Bowl anyone?

Just making sure. I didn't know if you were watching it live or not..

I know they attempted a field goal and I know websites make lots of mistakes with their live updates.

Go Ole Miss anyhow.

Who? Rutgers? We're going to back in some backwoods bowl, especially if Notre Dame does not grab a BCS slot.

Either El Paso vs a Pac Ten team or Houston vs a Big Twelve or at-large. There is no way in hell Notre Dame doesn't get a BCS bid.

In following the RUT/CIN on GameCenter, how come I keep seeing Teel completing passes for 0 yds or -1 yds and then a Rutgers penalty?

Seems to be the playcalling tonight. Very heavy emphasis on pass routes in the 0-3 yard range, and I'm not talking screen passes.

The other area of emphasis is throwing interceptions, and Teel is excelling there.
