It's enlightening being a Patriots fans after so many years as a Yankee hater. Everyone's all jealous of your team's success, and roots for their failure. People actually hate the collective group of Patriots fans. And I'm just, "What the hell did I do, I lived through Rod Rust and Tom Hodson for god's sake". The only thing you can say in response is to bring up the super bowls, and then that just makes you look more arrogant. I don't how we're expected to behave.

On the same play Aikmen would say, "Bellichek is complaining, idano, it looked like it might be contact to me, but he knows his football" or something...

But his analysis, imo, is the best out there.

I have to agree. Aikman really is a good color commentator, but I can't stand wishy-washy people in the booth who try to cover both sides so if the call goes against their opinion, they won't get shown up.

To me, the best color guy in all football is Herbstreit, who has the analysis that Aikman does, but is willing to say what he thinks about a call.

Agreed, I specifically said in the NFL because I agree about Herbstreit for College Football.

Hpoefully Aikmen wil lgrow a pair soon and then I won't have to be annoyed by that aspect of him.

Aargh. Again, we needed 7 points there.

So far, I think Vinatieri and Gostkowski are even. Two FGs each and a miss from 30-something.

Just a note from something I saw on that play where Faulk dropped the ball...

I've seen blatant holding by OT's not getting called more and more often lately.. I saw it a ton in the Skins game today, I saw it just there on that play.. it seems like anymore that if an OT is getting beat they can wrap their arm around the shoulders/neck of the DE and it never gets called. It's very frustrating.

Maybe.. he would have at least had a shot or gotten close enough that the Pats consider going for it.

I think I'd put my cash on Vinatieri with the game on the line. Gostkowski has been pretty shaky all year.

They need another score, I wouldn't put the game on the D's shoulder, esp. with Brady in there

It isn't jealousy of the Pats success. I admire what they have built and the run they are on and it is unfair to lump all the fans together but there are a very large number of Pats fans that are insufferably arrogant. Red Sox fans may be worse. One title in 90 odd years and suddenly its like they invented baseball and winning. I've been to some Sox-Jays game at Skydome, sorry, Rogers Centre, and what an annoying bunch of jackasses Sox fans were.

Glad I've been around here for years, or I'd be very confused at a guy with the screen name Vinatieri for Prez rooting against Vini.

Wow he missed....game on.

these "tip-interceptions" have killed the pats tonight. what's that...2 in the 4th quarter?

how many of the INT's today have been brady's fault?

So NE fans can make all the excuses they want about refs, etc, etc... but 4 INT's from Brady really spells out what happened this game.
