Nothing wrong about it though. I do deal with a few people from your country every once in a while, as I work for a coach manufacturer that's is owned at 50% by Volvo... FM

You best not say anything bad about the Swedes or else the leftover Viking DNA in me will come out and destroy you (kinda like The Hulk).
I enjoy being 1/4 Swedish...

Well, I am 25% German also, and barbarians were almost as tough as Vikings.
The other 50% is Irish and Welsh. Only thing that helps me with is drinking...

Yup. Mom's side is 100% Swedish. My grandparents on her side came over on the boat when they were young. I actually lived in Sweden for about 15 months after college, on a Graduate Fellowship. Met lots of distant relatives. Skied the Vasaloppet. Ate lots of blueberries. Had a wonderful time. Jag tycker om Sverige! |

My family is originally from a little town called Skivarp. We went there while we lived in Germany and it was interesting seeing the old graveyard with my ancestors in it.
Never realized how many Eckbergs there were in the world, heck, even in Sweden, until we went there...

and myself and Mrs. Swaggs. Taken on our wedding day in front of Woodburn Hall (the landmark most often used in association with WVU). We both have nice canned smiles on, due to the fact we had already taken about 1000 pictures and it was 25 degrees out.

I was away this weekend and must have missed this thread. Against my better judgment, here's a dorky picture of me (is there any other kind?) with Doug Pinnick of King's X, taken May 2 after their gig here in Tallahassee.
In case there's any doubt, I'm the one on the left - the "attorney who looks incredibly out of place at a rock concert now that he's pushing 32!"

Of course I do! Actually, I was planning on buying a new one, but they didn't have any - at the first show of a month-long tour, if you can believe that. They definitely need some help in the marketing department.
It's the only time I really get to wear concert t-shirts anymore, so I wear them when I go. It's not like I own much else that I can wear to a bar.

Ksyrup,
I don't know why, but I always pictured you looking more like Silent Bob. And as far as dorky "posing with the band" pictures go, I'll have see if I can dig up the picture I took with The Posies when I was younger. Mr. Peepers glasses and a Prince Valient haircut.
