I'll do it tommorrow. I need to upgrade my crops first really quick. I neglected them bad to crank out the level 3 embassy today. So should have enough crops first thing in the morning to upgrade. Check back before noon tommorrow.

So here's my current status:

Production

Lumber = 34 per hour
Clay = 38 per hour
Iron = 34 per hour
Crop = 15 per hour

Crops will get my next upgrade.

Cranny is at level 5, with one warehouse, a level 3 main building, level 1 rally point and barracks.

I am working on getting all of my resources at level 3 and then I'll start expanding more. I will probably add a few more cranny as well just to keep my resources to myself.

Not sure if that is a decent way to go or not, but seems correct. Any thoughts or ideas on how we should be developing our cities to make the alliance strong?

iron at 30
crop at 17

will probably upgrade crops next a couple times tomorrow morning

Cranny level 6 is currently being built, about 47 minutes from being done, level 3 main building, no rally point, nor barracks yet. No warehouse either although I have my level one embassy...

dola, my lumber/clay/iron productions are all with a 25% production bonus thanks to the free gold thing. Something like 3.5 days left to that...

Looks like it will be about 2-3pm EST when I'll have enough crops to upgrade to level 4 embassy. Have a few people still needing invites, so I'll likely need a level 5 or 6 embassy as well to cover them all.

Its mostly crops that I need. the guides I read stated that I'd want to build up some of the other resources a bit faster than Crops which I did at first, but crops eventually caught up and surpassed all of the other resources. .. (am level 3 crops in most spots, some level 2).. but I find the embassy upgrades seem to mainly be waiting on my crop yield.

Right now I'm trying to: upgrade embassy -> upgrade crops -> upgrade embassy again.

What I read said to keep crop production at at least half of clay.. My crops are doing well at 20-25 right now, and I only have one level 3.

I read the same thing.. my Clay is 35 production and crops are only 20 production. I have more level 3 crops than you do though, I wonder why I have less production... The Embassy upgrades eat up alot of crops though, almost as much as clay.

Embassy 4 upgrade = 375 wood, 275 clay, 315 iron, 170 crops.

Currently I have: 374 wood, 711 clay, 528 iron and 99 crops.... I can't even use my clay fast enough right now.

I'm account sitting for BrianD while he is gone for a few days. It says someone is coming to attack him in a bit over an hour. I had upgradded his cranny high enough where it should hold all of the resources he has. Just a quick question so I dont mess him up.. is this a sufficient defense, just let them come attack, raid and leave with nothing?

Hmm, odd coincedence - I'm right next to him, and I've got an attack coming in as well, should arrive around 11:05 Pacific.

But AFAIK, just having enough cranny should be sufficient.

Also, early attackers are likely to be Teutons, so the cranny will only be 2/3rds as efficient...

Eesh,, the guy who attacked Brian was Firebat from the #1 alliance on the server.. came with 25 clubswingers and a hero.. He left dissapointed I am sure as he left with nothing if I am reading it right. The Bounty was 0 all the way across.

Yep, he didn't get anything from me either

Let him go bug someone else...

Oh, and I discovered that there's no penalty for cancelling a level 1 building. So you can start a level 1 *whatever* just before the attack hits if you don't have enough cranny, then cancel right after.

I'll keep upping the embassy until we get everyone in.. It just takes a while because its really costly each upgrade now

For this upgrade its 485 wood, 350 clay, 405 iron and 215 crops. Thanks to Lordscarlet, he helped supply some of the materials needed for this upgrade. I should have enough materials in the next hour, and then it will take about 1 hour, 15 minutes or so to build. It will only be enough room for 3 more people then I have to upgrade again.

Some alliance questions:

- How do people feel about the name? Change to something else, or this ok?
-Who do you all want to elect as leaders?
- I got some messages asking if they could join our alliance. Do we want outsiders to be allowed in, or keep it FOFC only? (Obviously FOFC only until everyone gets in at the least)

Also, we should consider someone taking up the lead on military forces. I see a pretty nasty raid was done on Yellow5 by some unaffiliated player.. We probably should figure out how we want to set up a reprisal force for things like that. Just to deter any future such actions on our members.

Ok Embassy is upgraded to level 5. Right now I have 6 invitations pending to FOFC members. So we'll need at least one more embassy upgrade.

Next upgrade is: 620 wood, 445 clay, 515 iron, and 275 crops.. so will take me a bit of time to store it back up again. I expect I'll be able to upgrade to that tommorrow at some point.

1) I have 1 legionaire, which is worthless, so a militar response from me would take a while
2) We should each send like 50 of each resource (if you have a marketplace) to Alan T. We couldn't have this alliance without his embassy, we should help build it.

I don't necessarily need that unless people have extras. I could use some extra lumber to build the next stage of the embassy, but am perfectly ok on iron and clay for now. Would love to see resources put in for someone (or people) to start building a military branch. Some of our members are being attacked a bit much and we should discourage that behavior

That's good with me too. I have focused mostly on resources, but I've started to spread thin with my buildings a little bit. Does anyone have above a Level 1 barracks that we can fund for military leadership? My production levels are currently 40/45/40/19. I'll be upping crops around 11:30 and then sitting a while to build resources up for my next upgrade. If people would like me to build up military, I can do that, but so far I haven't worked towards it at all (I just have a Level 0 or 1.. whatever it starts as.. barracks). If anyone needs supplies, let me know. It takes quite a while to transport them (7 or 9 hours or something for me to get to Alan T).

I think we should all focus on military a bit. I just conducted a raid with my Server 3 acct., and I can see where it is beneficial. With two legionnaires, I am hauling back 20 of each resource for 40 minutes of work.

There's something to be said for having someone that can churn out resources as well. If you get to level 10 I can't imagine how much you're getting per hours, but I'm already getting twice what you mentioned per hour with level 2's primarily.

You're right, but that is at a cost of how many crops? For an upkeep of two crops per hour, I made 20 of each. If I add another guy to the raids, that is another 13 of each resource.

Depending upon how you look at it, it makes a lot of sense to do, as it also weakens your opponents.

To go from lvl 1 iron to lvl 2 iron, it is 2 crops per hour. That gains 6 iron. So your crop per hour ratio is 3 iron for every crop. I just scored 20 iron, 20 crop, 20 clay, and 20 timber for the same crop cost as 6 iron. But this will vary by distance to the town, etc.
