I'd be careful with trading - it's tough to execute - and it's like 32 games before the free agents go through.

Well we were playing solid .500 baseball until we ran into the Silver Bullets, and Seattle.
You know what sucks, I lost 3 straight and had the player of the game in each game. In other news, my relief ace has some maturing to do. Starts hot with 4sv now a 2 losses and BS and era near 7.

That's the only series that I've won in a while. I only have about three and a half hitters in my lineup. It's scary how many of my guys are under the Mendoza line for their careers. |

I think I've got a future star on my hands here. LF Danny Ramirez, he's only hitting .265 and has an OBP of .299, if he learns to hit he's going to be a major star, he's 23 I think, with a speed of 86. 14 steals, 0 CS so far, the second highest number of steals in the league is 7, another guy on my team 3rd has 6 steals.

I was curious how the draft list was determined (I was just looking at it a minute ago fine, and I draft 9th).
I'm highly disappointed by this homestand of mine, I have 18 games in a row at home, and I think so far I'm 6-6, including 2-3 so far against the worst two teams in Division 3, I really expected to go 4-2 or better against them :P |

I feel your pain, Radii. I've been terrible on my homestand (10-11) while kicking rear on the road (5-2). I was hoping to extend my great start on the long homestand but have instead fallen in the standings...

well my team(S. Boston) just ripped off nine out of 10 wins. Unfortunatley it looks like i won't be having the time to run my team properly. I'm now working 2 jobs(60hrs) and i've got my hands full with hattrick as it is. So i've released my team and i guess anyone can pick them up. We're in first place by half a game! woohoo!

You think your team is doing bad? I went from being in 1st by 4 games to being down by 2 after going 2-8 in my last 10.

I'm trying to play with some of the hook/fatigue options... I noticed two of my relief pitchers have -50% or worse fatigue, I wonder if something along those lines has drastically affected my performance. |

Yeah, that's what I did a couple of hours ago. I figure if I was doing great at the beginning of the season, and I'm sucking it up now, it must have something to do with my team's fatigue.

I messed up with realeasing my guys. I didn't see that the draft order is set -before- the season starts, based on salary. I dumped my guys just after the season started. Oh well.
When do we get to see the potential draftees? |

The draft list is up and it seems very pitcher friendly. Not to many good position players. Also, does anybody know how long the offseason is, and will there be enough time to pull trades off during that time, rather than in season?

Only 80 players in the draft? so 3 rounds and then 5 or 6 crappy free agents I guess. It's going to take awhile to 'rebuild' a team with a 3 round draft.
However, the number of players on that list that could start for my team now is stunning. Everyone in the first round probably has a shot at an immediate starter(if they want to use him that way). A big question I have that would drastically effect my draft decisions... I wonder how long I can leave a guy in Single A. There are a few 23-25 year olds in the draft that if I took I'd start immediately. But there are a *lot* of hitters that are 21 or so with numbers in the solid low-mid 50s all the way down the line. I wonder if one of those guys in single-A would see signifigant progress in his first year or two such that they can become stars in their mid 20s. Oh, and do we know when the draft occurs? (I really should go look through the FAQ/help huh? |

Crap, you win the series 2-1, bbor. Fine, take the rubber, see if I care. The joke's on you, however, because I already used it!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!
