I don't recall him being banned, he just disappeared from the FOF world. We was a great owner in the Imperial League for a long time and slow faded and then disappeared from there as well. The guy moved, I know that kicked the disappearance into high gear over there anyways.

This is probably my issue. Having only been married once, I can only do this for so long before I just snap and want to go ballistic on people. My tolerance level is high, but not nearly as high as someone with your level of experience

There's a number of people on my list that I do respond to, but having them there makes it easier to pick & choose when I do so.

Thats a good point, I actually don't anybody on my list at all as I respect the difference of opinions, even opinjions that make me go WTF?

I just can't anybody ever posting anything that would get me that upset and when I feel it happening I just stay out of a certain thread.

I am impressed with the size of your list though Jon, that's prolific.

Anybody have more than 63 people ignored?

I have carried that technique over to message boards where I have no need for an ignore list. I just choose not to read certain thread topics of a various nature, and generally skip through posts from a few members.

Ahh yeah, the having sex w/ a pregnant Britney Spears comment. I remember it very well actually. It was that post that made me lose what little respect I had for him.

I'm curious if anyone has me blocked. I post a lot in religious threads, so I wouldn't be surprised if someone has. Plus I'm a real asshole.

We disagree on the religion issue, but the discussions that I saw from you were always respectful.

I personally have never had someone on my ignore list. There are plenty of things here I don't care for (most of the arguing, whining, and how every thread goes into jokes about trout or pumpy to name a few), but it's easily passed over.

OK, when you put it like that, I can see it. Which leads on to another point I was thinking about that you've referenced (and cuervo):

But it certainly doesn't matter anymore. The werewolves have won.

Those bans were when the FOF topics and the "off-topic" stuff was together, before we had "Off Topic". As such, Ben was reading those threads a bit more and I think I understand him (and a lot of other, longer-serving members) to have a considerably small tolerance for people arguing about politics ad nauseum.

That makes a lot of sense to me. Also, Ben is probably not likely to go INTO a political thread, so I bet that the fact that Jesse Ewiak was more likely to start a new thread instead of bumping an old one made him more likely to get banned.

I'm a Christian and believe in a deity. You're an atheist. Big deal. Why would someone hate you for that? I mean, even if you called all believers completely unintelligent wack-jobs, isn't it supposed to be in my nature to NOT hate you for that?

Plus, I've seen pictures of you, and you're hotter than Alizee, and much nicer than Render.

(No offense Render)
