Alabama's offensive line is demoralizing Florida's defense.

McElroy has had a few of those types of runs today. Nice play that could help Alabama finish this off.

This SC team has to be some of the bigger sore losers in all of college football. Unless it has become tradition to not shake your opponents hands when you lose. Iguess its alright to shake them when you blew the other team out by 62? Any of the trojan fans here know why the coaches allow this?

Fairly true, as the offense was complete shit (Savage had a real true freshman game) and Schiano was his usual gutless, pussy self at the end of the first half...but WVU was just sloppy at times which gave us the chances we needed. Outside of a couple big runs, the defense was excellent after the beginning of the game. This was one of the roughest games I've sat through. The temperature wasn't bad, but the rain/snow mix combined with it just made it a huge pain in the ass. As expected, WVU had great representation and I met some good people in the lots. And their fans even treated us to an EER vs EER fight at one point. |

I love when Gary Danielson explains a penalty and is so confident in doing so...meanwhile he is completely wrong about everything.

The weather looked terrible and was probably the main reason for the sloppy play, but you were treated to the frustrations of Jarrett Brown today. The kid has every physical tool you could dream of, but makes some of the most bone-headed plays you'll see. You see the fumble without being touched and then later on the stiff arm that got the 1st down that put the game away. The long TD pass by Savage was predictable for any Mountaineer fan. Casteel is a hell of a DC and I don't think I'd trade him for anyone, but this season it seems like every time WVU gets a lead late he'll stop blitzing and we see a blown coverage TD. It'd say good game, but we all know both teams played poorly today. I think I'll just take the win and move on. Geno Smith takes over next year and I'm excited to see 3 years (hopefully) of Geno vs Savage. If Geno is as good as the coaching staff and those that watch practice say he is we should have some entertaining games (weather permitting). |

I'm guessing there won't be a plaque for Tebow's speech after this game.

Shitty weather has been par for the course for Rutgers homes games this year. Not counting the FIU game (since I didn't go), every Rutgers home game has had bad weather or bad weather forecast. But it was entertaining watching the 50-50 draw being done three times b/c some moron decided not to bother with 23K. BTW, where were you sitting? Did you get drenched? Fortunately I was dry as a bone under the cover in section 109. It was disappointing watching half the stadium leave. |

Unless you are an Alabama fan or really hate Florida with a passion this game was terrible. Not one bit exciting for the past 2 hours.

So, when he's knocked on his butt in the NFL, will he cry each time too? Just wondering.

This crying is sad. It isn't the pee wee 4th grade championship.
I guess god is looking over Kurt Warner this weekend and didn't have enough time to help you win this game. |

Wtf Tebow, what a fucking pansy ass. Then again, if I just got drubbed this badly, realized I wasn't going to play in another title game and had no real shot at being a starter or, most likely, even a full time player in the NFL after this game, I might cry too.

I don't blame him for his overexposure, I blame the media. He's an athlete and a student in which any team or university would love to have.

I like Tebow. He's what is right about sports and it's about time we focus on the positive outside of the game, rather then the negative.

that too. Grew up a huge RU fan and went to UC. Lucky for me those teams never play Washington when I will be graduating from soon. I think this season is proof we need a playoff. Probably have 5 undefeated teams plus Florida. Boise beat the team going to the Rose bowl. TCU beat a team playing for the ACC title on the road. UC goes undefeated in a BCS conference and the only loss Fla has is to Alb. Could you imagine a playoff with TCU Boise Cincinnati Texas Alabama Florida Oregon ACC Champ Ohio state That would be awesome. It could go something like this Bama vs ACC Champ Cincinnati vs TCU Texas vs Boise Folrida vs OSU |

I just don't understand how anyone can hate Tebow. He's been built up to be a little too much but it baffles me how anyone can badmouth a kid for caring so much about football and "other stuff"

Who gets the Holiday Bowl bid now? Is Florida still in the BCS mix in terms of an at-large bid?

Why is wanting him for your program your counter argument to him crying? He is a man. You learn when you lose in checkers at age 4 that isn't neccessary to cry every time you lose and if you really do have to cry to do it in private. |

I am probably guilty of being one who cans on athletes for the "other stuff". I love Kurt Warner, he is a great QB and to thid day a great man in the community here in St. Louis. That doesn't mean that he has to preach about God for something as trivial as sports. I am pretty sure the truly devoted are on missions in third world countires to save people who are dying and hoping that God comes with them instead of floating on the 50 yard line at the Superdome helping you win over the Titans because Steve McNair is a sinner. |

I compared learning how to lose with a man a year away from being in the NFL crying about the end of his title dreams. How many NFL players cry in public after losing big games? After losing the Super Bowl? Seriously, I can't recall any. Maybe I am wrong? |

I'm lucky becuase my g/f has become just as big a college football fan as I am, maybe more (ever since she had fun at the Army-Rutgers game a few years ago and the USF-Rutgers game in Tampa last year). When Cincinnati played West Virginia, she cancelled some other plans so we could watch it. I was at the Rutgers game today while she was in Flordia and she kept texting me how she won't miss such a big game again since she had a hard time finding it on XM radio (she has use/lose time and swears she won't use it around a big Rutgers home game again). She also felt the need to text me updates about the Pitt-Cincinnati game and reminded me that we want Nebraska to win tonite because of the Big East. I'm very lucky. |

Wait, so is the conventional wisdom that if some how the Bo Pellinis knock off Texas, that Cincy will jump TCU to get into the title game?
And if Texas does win, will that mean a BCS game with Cincy and TCU? |
