You could say... "Our name is...The Pants-staining Wondermutts of FOFC" or somesuch. I hope people mock your group mercilessly.

And the saga of Jeebs' new video card continues:

Dammit! Even though I ordered my video card Friday night it only got shipped this morning. Guess that means I won't be getting it until Wednesday or Thursday...

I can kill the group and create a new one.

Is everyone fine with Front Office Heroes? It really doesn't matter to me. And then, I'll make the team colors light yellow and maroon in honor of the Yellow board style.

Sachmo71, are you even in the game? All this smack talk and I don't think you've set foot in Paragon city. Shame on you.

BTW.. yay! My new defender type Green Gale (Tried Green Nightengale, but it was ONE character too long. BAH) hit level 8 last night, thanks to a run with the FOFC crew).

Hover and energy blasts = fun. Hovering above the action where you won't get "accidental" hits from the thugs and throwing energy blasts down. My favorite is a wave energy blast that has the ability to possibly knock down the target as well as damage them. If you get knocked down by my power wave, then one of the scrappers/tanks will just finish you off.

if any of the crew need healing, i Just turn hover off.. throw a healing aura (all within a few feet get 25 HP or so back) until all ok, and then turn hover back on and float out of the quagmire

It's multiplayer, it's real time, and they're really a lot alike.

Wait till you see the knockback effect of one of Ramsack's punches (Ka... BLAM!)

Of course, there's no real super villains yet (although there are three levels of creatures, Minions, Lieutenants and Bosses), but you can still get a good mad on vs certain things (ask about how much Gale hates clockwork )

Indeed. Being a blaster with hover and energy blast is a ton of fun. I've perfected leaping and hovering simultaneously to really shoot me up in the air at the start of hostilities. Once I slap them with my 2 ranged attacks, I drop down and melee them with my punches which I've enhanced with knockback. God this game is fun.

I moved The Black Fedora to Virtue and recreated him as a Defender/Healer. I figure if we each have a Defender, we can take turns at healing duties.

Works for me. I much enjoy playing Green Gale. It's a constant reminder that I can't pull off the Foz Death Rush attack. Plus it's fun to see the energy wave bear down on the enemies

Done, done, and done. Well, the 3rd done will have to wait until i get home tonight, but you catch my drift. Or was that the 2nd done? Hmm... either way, by the end of tonight, it will be, for sure, done, done, and done.

A heroes job is never... oh wait a minute. I just said it 8 times. I'm not used to being in my mild-mannered skin. Thankfully, I have glasses and can conceal my true identity. The glasses always throws them off. Muwahahaa.

Front Office Heroes evokes an image of some guy in a suit, about to take it off revealing a superhero costume ala Superman. I like it.

Either that or it's the guy with the pocket protector who you call on to save your front office when you're in it deep. That's not so cool.

Does a happy dance. I led my first mission, a team of 5 into the lair of Stitcher and crew, and came out victorious. Since I was the highest level (8 defender), I was the only one of us who did not level up during it *grumbles*

Jeeber, when you initially install and run the program it will pull the patch down to your system.

Hope to catch up with you this weekend once the graphics card is ready to go.

Anyone know where I could find a good price on the game itself? You guys are pulling me into this, but I only see $40 + tax around here for it, surely I can find it cheaper somewhere. gogamer.com has it for $44!

I think someone should name their hero The Spanish Inquisition! That way, you can always say "No one expects the Spanish Inquisition!" whenever you meet another group. That joke would never get old.

i have been playing every type of hero with different powersets to try to get a "feel" for them.

I am liking tankers alot(something about killing a group of guys shrugging your shoulders and jumping into another group)

I am suffering from cronic reroll syndrome. I can get to level 4 in a blink of an eye though.

I don't even recall all the current characters and their names i have but i do have 1 of each of the 5 types

One aspect of CoH that I find very interesting is the amount of variation you see. I understand that with all the choices in character creation that was the dev's goal, but I figured you would see all tall, muscular superman-like heroes. This isn't the case. Not sure where I was going with this... just liking the fact that the diverse choices are being excercised.

I have yet to join a team where any 2 body types were even the same, let alone an outfit. Even powers (having far less variation than character stuff) are spread across the spectrum. I am always seeing new powers being used. Great stuff.

Still telling me that my video card isn't supported even though I got the kind that it says meets it's minimum requirements.

Sigh...off to update the drivers and see if that works.
