What is the purpose of that? Just to see how much food someone can waste?

No matter how good a burger is, nothing but meat and cheese is kind of lacking.

Even I have to say "hope so" on that one.

That basically ends up being a cheesy hamburger steak I figure.

BTW, the official number of participants ended up being 8, but only 5 were in for the whole deal.

edit to add: Yes, the link includes a recap of the experience.

I don't know about that.

The Colossus Burger at Jack in the Box was nothing short of amazing...1100 calories of nothing but hamburger, cheese, and bacon. Lots and lots of hamburger, cheese, and bacon...of course, I was in my starving 20's back then so maybe I remember it differently.

Vine is fun. I don't know how to properly use it yet - I've made a couple videos that completely suck. But I see the potential. Here's me and my brother throwing down on a 10 foot rim today at my mom's:

We did not drive in Russia as I suspect it was crazy. We had a couple of taxi rides to and from train stations and the one during rush hour was the most harrowing. They definitely subscribe to the European theory that the lines on the road are there for decoration. Oh, and there was the half hour long bus ride from Vladimir to Suzdal but that was tame as there wasn't any traffic.

So did no one post anything because the thread is dying or did the thread get seriously pruned by our mystery mod while I was gone?

SI, they are New York's largest company and ranked #15 (2012) in the Fortune 500.

Unless one of the oil company's headquarter is there, but I doubt that.

Not after 2008.

Apple and Starbucks are right on, they are far more famous than Google and Microsoft. In these cases, it's about current trends, products and exposure, I think.

Quite right, it looks like. On the Fortune 500, Verizon is 16 to Chase's 18 and Citi's 26. Close but no cigar.

Exxon Mobil (#2) and Phillips 66 (#4) call Texas home and I would think they would be more recognizable. And I have no idea what Berkshire Hathaway's logo is but could we just have a silhouette of Warren Buffet covering Nebraska?

JPMC and Citi, like many banks, are incorporated in Delaware for tax reasons.

(then again, I guess you would be able to make the case that one of those should be captured in Delaware in the chart).
