I don't get it either. Even if I know a teen girl is driving (and I have a 16 year old niece on the road that is DITZY as they come) ..

I dont' get it. I can see the first one, oops. But back up and do it again, then back up and flip.

I have no idea whats going on in that car.

I can beat that. This park gets massively flooded every time we get heavy rains. It is kind of amazing they decided it was a good idea to put a park in such a place. It is hardly usable until May or so depending on the weather.

We have a golf course here that is bordered by a river on one side and a road on the other side. The road is about 10 or 15 feet higher than the golf course. Every April the golf course just looks like a big lake.

That's exactly why they put the park there -- can't be used for anything else. Some cities require developers to set aside land for community parks, and it's always the rockiest, swampiest, most useless piece of land they can find.

Yeah, I think the requirement in our city is 2% of the development has to be 'green space'. We'll be giving them green space for sure.

Since I left the home-building industry I don't remember the exact requirements in KCMO but it's something like that. But then there's this:

Since developers were setting aside all this land for parks and the city had no money to put parks in, they established a payment-in-lieu-of-parkland system where developers could put money into a city trust for parks instead of donating the land. However, the city just put the money in the bank, diverted the interest to general revenue, and never spent a dime on building a park.

That gif makes me happier than you can imagine. When I used to drive a lot, and in particular anywhere near Massachusetts, those folks who would try to pass everyone on the breakdown lane were my biggest pet peeve. I would have paid money to see something like this.

I would always pull halfway into the hazard lane the instant I saw someone coming up trying to do this. As soon as one douchebag pulled this there would be 5 more to follow.

I do the same thing, I enjoy looking at how pissed off people look in my rearview. With as many people that carry guns in their car here though, probably something I should stop doing before I encounter a nut.

Ha! Me, too. This worked better when I was driving around my fleet Escape as a Corolla just doesn't cover half a lane all that well.

Yeah, it is very annoying when people do this, but you shouldn't block the emergency/breakdown lane. What if somebody is rushing somebody to the hospital or some similar situation where they can't sit in traffic for 20 minutes?
