I don't know who deleted it or why, but Jphillips was quoting Mike Rice (without using quote marks). NorvTurner thought Jphillips was calling him a "fu**ing fa***t". Which would be a bit out of character for Jphillips, but when I first saw the post, it did look like an insult for about 2 second before I realized the context. NorvTurner responded and called Jphiliips a "fu**ing retard". And was clearly not quoting Mike Rice. So it was a legit personal attack, though one that started from a misunderstanding.

Isn't this more about "tempting" a certain section of religious posters with pictures while working? I can understand the softcore porn where a girl might be cover her rack with her hands, but a hot girl? When I worked at a job where they monitored the places I went to, I didn't come to FOFC because it wasn't relevant. Now if I worked for a church or a school district or something like that, I wouldn't come here at all during working hours, but I value my job more than posting during work hours. But I'm old fashioned like that.

The pic was posted solely for the purpose of pointing out double standards is an attempt to highlight the bafflingly different standards of the moderating in this thread as it relates to pictures of different genders. Men = OK. Women = Verboten. Perhaps by seeing the double standard in such a clear light, it might helpt to advance the discussion to come up with a reasonable, intelligent and consistent moderating standard.

If someone wants to consider that an attempt to provoke, that's certainly within their right to do so. Interpretation is always dependent upon the receiver.
