We are kickin' it Driftwood style. My mom had sushi for the first time as well tonight, on Good Friday. Well, it was a crunchy roll, so not real sushi, but it was her first exposure to the genre.

I saw the most amazing thing in my backyard tonight. I have a SINGLE bluebonnet flower in bloom. I didn't plant any seeds, and there aren't any other bluebonnets blooming within 5 miles of my house. I have no clue how this single plant ended up in my backyard. I'll get a pic of it tomorrow.

Almost a third of a bottle of tequila gone. Yum.

Life sucks.. then you die.. and they either bury you with worms or burn you. And if you're lucky you died because your heart finally gave out or the cancer finally consumed you (heh.. wasn't cancer once called "consumption"?).. if you're not so lucky you jump off the ninth story stairwell of a building on the campus you went to college at when you're not even thirty years old.

Last night I had 2 beers at Old Dominion brewpub and felt knd of buzzed, tonight it's been 4 or 5 Captain & Diet's that I've been mixing, and I can't feel my tongue.

I'm also playing Final Fantasy 3, trying to finish up the last of the side-quests and extra battle before Pokemon arrives at my door on Monday.
