I also have a magical set of studded leather armor. Who is interested in taking that off my hands?

If no one buys it today, I may sell it to the djinni this afternoon.

It's already been identified (by Poli, I think). I'll dig up the post.

And the rules say that people can't lie about items that they end up trading, so I think his identification (and my posts about it) are pretty much assured to be accurate.

I asked Abe about how powerful it is and he said it's better than the basic chainmail I was wearing before. So I've been wearing it since. But I just found some magical chainmail, so I now don't need the magical studded leather.

I'll look for the previous identification post about it.

Here was Poli's original comments on the studded leather armor. The 750gp price and the fact that Abe told me it was better than normal chainmail makes me think that it's slightly better than +1 studded leather.

Note, I'm not expecting 750gp for it, but not sure what I will sell/trade it for.

Yeah, 750 is out of my price range. I forget how much gold I have, but it's probably less than 100. I do have a scimitar +1 and a warhammer +1, worth 200 each.

Can you ID things immediately?

I don't have a problem with you refusing to pay if anything I've said isn't true (we could work out how that goes), but it's very possible that I'll want to sell it today to the djinnis if I can't sell it on the black market. And since an item can only be exchanged once per day, if you ID it and then decide you didn't want it, I wouldn't be able to sell it.

And I want to have the opportunity to sell it today in case there's something at the djinni sale I really want and need the gp for. Make sense?

Ah. I'd probably want around 400gp for it (or items I could use that would be worth that to me). Alas, I don't think I'd really use the scimitar or warhammer, so I'd be better off selling it to the djinni.

Totally forgot about actions yesterday too. Oh well, doesn't seem the room we are in is that interesting. You guys want to go back out and up or go to the right? I doubt we will get very far if we go right.

why do you say that about going right? Have any of us been there yet and its not leading to a potential "starting" room? I'd much rather go someplace new than backtrack if we can help it.

DaddyTorgo,

I know that I'm small and slight of build, but not that slight that both my party members miss my posts where I give them info about an item for one, and offer to ID an object for the other. Thanks Pass for stepping in to ID it.

That's a pretty cool figurine. Let's up move and fight in two rooms that day if I've understood how its used.

heh talking about Angband made me load up the latest version and play a bit of Ironman Angband-just go straight into the dungeon and go as far down as you can without dying-can't buy/sell anything in the stores in town. Good fun

Ches,

I assume you are in the fortune teller room now?

So, if you go right, that should be the Whipsting room and if I go backwards, I'll be in the same room.

I'm low on HP so... I would have liked to heal up first before moving again, but no herbs/potions....

I am level 2.

And going right, passed on my map, will likely put us in someones starting room (since it will be at the same level as my own starting room) But we can still do it

ah bummer PF doesn't sound like a very exciting time. Is there an exit off the room we were just in that we haven't gone yet and wouldn't lead to a starting room then? If so maybe we should go back. If not, then I say we just go to the starting room and hope we can move from there

do you want to wait then Thomkal? So that you don't die? I could use the horsie figurine to pop to the next room and check it out or something, since i have my built-in healing ability?

what are our choices of directions - to the right on the same level or going back and up? I didn't realize we'd come down i guess.

I too am very teamy. Figure the best chance of surviving and leveling up is to combine talents - everybody has different pluses and minuses, so a well-constructed team should enhance weaknesses and we should all succeed.

KWhit, I would trade for that armor. I've got those darts (200) and 200 GPs for it, think about it.

Danny, I'm level 3 and, I think, close to 4 so we'll get you caught up quickly.

Our only exits today are back and right. According to my map and the way I am facing, right would take us back to the level of starting rooms. If we go back to the natural cave room, we can go left or right there to go to rooms we haven't visited yet. Left from there would put us back to the level of starting rooms, and I believe right would put us into the next level of difficulty. I submitted an action to move right, but we can change that.
