The Duke can change the results of the lynch 1 time during the game. The Manipulator was most probably our Duke.

Then again, can anyone explain why they left the seer alive? I'm not getting that.
I'm not complaining mind you.

I'm assuming they expected the seer to be protected last night.

Oh and I am a Theology Major. I kept that to myself until I knew Alan was gone. he's far too good at manipulating things to make them say something they really don't and I didn't want to give him more fuel.

By last night, do you mean Night 4? I thought the wolves would have expected Racer to be protected Night 3, which is why they went for hoops. But then you'd think that Racer couldn't be protected Night 4, so they should have gone for him. |

Mrs. S agreed to follow me last night so she could see my murderer if I was murdered. I'm guessing they didn't think it was worth outing one wolf to take me out. By the way, I should not be protected tonight since I can only scan every other night. If Mrs. S wasn't protected last night, she should be protected tonight. Assuming there is only one wolf left, she is the equivalent of a everyday seer at this point. |

As far as what I saw, I watched Racer. When he scans he lays down and crosses his hands on his chest. I don't know who I'm going to watch tonight just yet, but protection would be good.

Man. Give it up for Racer and Mrs. S. Between the two of you we've had very little to do. Nicely done.

Yeah, but I think I'm going to do it, since it will help me avoid getting night-killed. See, I'm not a villager, so there's no point for the wolves to kill me, since it won't help their ratio. Also, I want the villagers to know that, too, in case it gets close -- I get a normal victory if the villagers win, so it's important that I tell you that. I'm the Arcane Collector. For a major victory, I need to find the Necronomicon. To do that, I need to find whoever has it -- a lot like Alan hinted at. I thought he was onto me, or could help me with that, but he proved useless. Anyway, once I find it, my identity will be revealed to the group -- that's why I was asking not to be scanned. I didn't want it wasted, since I planned on clearing myself. |

Also, I think path was asking about this earlier, but from what I understand, if whoever has the Necronomicon is lynched, the villagers will destroy it -- I'm pretty sure that's good for the village, which is why I wanted Telle lynched last night.

My order of preference is: 1. I find whoever has it (a night action for me) 2. Villagers find it and destroy it by lynching whoever has it 3. Wolves get it Problem is, the wolves might already have it, and if they do, I'm guessing things can get ugly. My hunch is that they do, based on Mrs. Schmidty's report. It could be a different book that EF and Telle were playing with, or it could be that it got passed, I'm not really sure. |

VOTE NIGHTFALL Also, anyone suspicious of anyone for the me to follow tonight? Racer can't scan tonight though maybe I should watch him anyway to make sure I can see who takes him out...either way, I'd like protection. For obvious reasons I'm not going to say who I'm following tonight. |

Why didn't they convert Kwhit? They have the book and they need the numbers...interesting.

Is that rhetorical, or directed at me? I honestly don't know. I'm not even sure they have the book. And I'm not sure they can use the book at will to convert people like that. Maybe it can only be used to convert only once? Conversion is a really powerful mechanic, so that would make sense. |

It wasn't directed at anyone in particular, just wanted to see what ideas folks had. I was thinking maybe it's only usable every-other kill. For TheJackal's kill they didn't have it, for Telle they got it and used it (assuming the book they had was the Nec), for Kwhit they didn't use it and now tonight...

What roles have yet to be discovered? Wolf (1 or 2) Bodyguard Current Bearer of the Nec (This role would overlap with one of the wolves) The rest we would assume are villagers/students. Time to start analyzing posts! |

I've been in online ootp leagues with schmidty since I think 2002 or 2003, so yeah I've seen him go off at people at times.. but in 5 years he's never gone off at me for something. I like Schmidty, he just wears his heart on his sleeve about some things, but at least he has passion which is more than you can say about others. |

I love how I'm the only one in here and have been for awhile lol.
I'm sick and have the day off, what can I say?? But I'm lonely! Schmidty is sleeping and the boards are quiet...if there were ever a reason to knowingly keep a wolf in the game it is to avoid quiet boards. /mourn Alan T |
