Reading up on who it is, we are talking two players that road the bench and then one player feeling like he deserved to be a starter after losing his starting spot. Smotrycz leaving would hurt for depth, but Burke leaving would be a killer.

Wisconsin is just looking pathetic. It's like they don't even have a point guard or anyone who can drive

Which is why I'm looking forward to the Post-Jordan Taylor years -- he just isn't a guy that will drive to create things. I understand protecting the ball and not forcing the ball and turning the ball over but --- it's him that creates the stagnant offense for the Badgers. The Badgers have a good quick guard that was good enough to play this year but decided to redshirt as a freshman; who will take over the duties next year. Add in Dekker and you've got two guys coming in next year that won't be so damn afraid to drive to the ****ing hoop.

Add in that Gasser is passing on open looks on more than a few occassions; that cannot happen tonight.

Wisconsin closed out on a 4-0 so that is a start. Let's get back to taking smart shots and work on getting the lead back

So... 5-3 Michigan State-Louisville with more than 8 minutes gone?

Only thing worse attended than Women's tourney games is this sad sack D2 Final Four game I watched briefly on Altitude.

Wisconsin looks like a totally different team here in the 2nd half. Tons of movement

I didn't even realize DII had gotten that deep.

Not surprising that a venue in KY (a few miles south of Cincinnati) has a sparse crowd for a game between teams from WA & MA. The 2nd game ought to be a little better, it's an AL school vs a KY school.

If

God damn. They really need to make it so when a timeout is called it also counts as a media timeout.

Wisconsin is starting to look stale again. They need to get that big guy back down underneath. 3 fouls with 4 to go isn't a big deal

I hadn't realized it either. Yeah, it made sense. I just never liked the neutral site, playing in front of no one deal. But I guess it's easier than giving everyone home games, but I guess it's fairer that way, but bleh.

Wisconsin just has no sense of urgency. This is the fastest last 4 minutes of a tourney game I've seen

Since MSU might not score 40, Louisville being at 35 with 12+ to go is bad.

Yeah, a long guarded 3 was not the ideal shot there

And yet another NCAA Tournament game comes down to a final play where the team on offense has no ability to execute anything at all. Grats to Syracuse.

Horrible shot by the Wisky player there. He had time to pass or move up.

This must be the first time you've cheered for a team the majority wants to see lose.

It's like you don't know how to handle it.

Wow... unreal. Senior Robby Wilson had the Cuse defender in the air and didn't dribble by for an easy jumper - instead passes out to Taylor and now it's over for those two.

Sad to see you guys go - Good career, especially for Taylor. Wilson started to figure it out towards the end but both came up short. Proud of these guys.

People who didn't change their bracket after Fab Melo was ruled out are breathing easier. If they get one more, that might be good enough for some.

That would be awful if all three B1G teams went down to the Big East teams tonight...

Well -- thats the end of my stuck to the TV watching tournament.

I told my wife with 30 seconds to go how it was going to end. "Foul, he's going to miss the front end off the back iron, Badgers rebound it and score for the win at the buzzer..." All happened but the last part...

Not sure what to do now.

Outside of two games against OSU, they were basically Michigan. Of course, you couldn't convince the MSU faithful of it.

Hey, I just sawGT play G'town for a trip to the women's S16 with what looked like a crowd suited for for a mid-week HS b'ball game featuring two tiny schools with sub-500 records ... but that was better than seeing the higher seed stuck playing on the road at the lower seed (as happens too often in the women's tourney).

(Neutral site in Chapel Hill in a year when UNC didn't make the tourney)

CBS needs to cut out these random ass camera angles. They are not cool. They are distracting and more often then not make it harder to see what is going on.

Good defense is holding a team to 50-60 points. This is just an embarrassing offensive display.

At least they are still playing. I'd think that a #2 seed losing to a #15 ranks much higher on the embarrassment scale.

It's only outranked by the frustration that Mizzou could have easily made a final four in this bracket if they could have outlasted the game of a lifetime from Norfolk State. But that obviously didn't happen. So here I sit sucking my thumb and waiting for fall to arrive.

Ever since pitino turned the team loose to press, they have been extraordinary. I banked my bracket on them being a different team in the tourney and I'm right so far.
