The days wind down, and the forces of good are in high spirits. All believe that the demons will be finished off for good...very soon. As the collected forces gather for yet another showdown...we have Yet Another Tie! Saldana and St.Cronin are called forth, but once again, who to kill? Today, there will be no random executions, no show of force by lords, generals, or any other force. This vote goes down to the common soldiers.
Stepping forward, Taz and Path draw their blades, forcing the crowds back. They converse, arguing about who to lynch between Saldana and St.Cronin. The argument gets heated, punches are thrown, and it becomes quite obvious these men are incapable of deciding who goes down today. The soldiers deadlocked, no one dies today. I guess that settles that question. Too bad it cost a lynch, but it's nice to be clear.

If we accept that the soldiers are in fact soldiers, and that Coffee would not write the role here in a way to protect them, then the noose tightens further on the demons and the circle of trust is pretty much huge.
On to the night actions. |

I might as well come clean. I made up the story about the merchant to protect myself until I knew more about the rest of the players, st.cronin knows it and I think hoops does as well.
I am the druid. I will not be making a sacrifice tonight.

This is exactly right - I saw him as having strong magical aura and also as clearly human. So I've been working with him as the druid since then.
I figured I would back him on his story because I understood why he would want to play it close to the vest with his role. But I hedged a little bit on the confirmation with the idea that some of the other identified humans who have played with me a few times might pick up on the fact that I'm covering for Ardent and take a logical leap on why I might be doing that. My gut is that I haven't played all that many games with the wolves, judging by our unknown lists. |

Also, I figured when AE said that he wasn't going to do anything with additional messages it was because he didn't make a sacrifice last night. AE, is that accurate? Is that why there was only one sacrifice yesterday? That the demons were still making sacrifices and you had pulled back?

That would seem to imply that we got the warlock when we lynched Gram.

Here's what I know before I possibly bite the dust today:
I had favor the first night. We got screwed. It was a random protection, which apparently went to a demon. That demon got protection not from a kill, but from being revealed. BS if you ask me, but I've gone a few rounds with CW on that already. Still angry about it, mind you. The next night neither of us got favor. The third night they got favor. I knew by Gramm's cockiness in the matter he had protection. I knew right then and there. When the elementals protected him that lynch, I knew without a doubt that Gramm was a demon. The fourth night I made a sacrifice, and they didn't. I also tried to strike a deal that I would offer a sacrifice of the elementals choice in exchange for a demon kill by the elementals, through my prayers to the elementals. The feeling I got back from the prayer, according to the PM, is that a bargain had been made. However, I was filled with images of three different animals, and apparently I chose wrong. The demons didn't choose one at all. That's it. That's what I got.

So Cronin absolutely knew that the demons had favor. Was it certain that any demon would be protected from a lynch or a specific demon? If we had chosen SnDvls instead of Gram would it have made any difference, as far as you can tell?

Cronin knew. That's what got on my nerves. He knew Gramm was getting protected.
Their favor was different than ours. Their favor was a demon of their choice. I'm certain cronin knew which demon. Had we chosen sndvls I believe we would have had a kill.

One more thing to add, when my sacrifice on night 3 didn't work, I felt the force of the elementals growing stronger.

Humans:
WVU Blade Path Taz Elementals: Cronin Dacman(dead) ???? (cronin implies there are others) Demons: Sun(dead) Gramat(dead) ??? Unkown roles: Dubb(claims theif...i personally believe him, but to be fair its not 100% sure he killed him...his actions right before the night was posted make me trust him, but this needs to be an honest list) Ardent(claims druid) Pass(claims bodyguard) Hoops(claims seer) Barkeep(claimed a raise, but i think its clear now post sun that doesnt mean hes a villager) King(originally human) Saldana(orginially human) So where does that leave us...Honestly, unless you guys insist on still going after elementals, BEFORE the night actions i think barkeep might be the best option, with king and saldana close 2nds...

My night action was sent in an hour ago...or whenever I posted I wasn't sacrificing. I'm ready for the day action whenever the demons and elementals are. I'm not changing my mind.

Blade, if you go after Barkeep you are going after a villager.
Seriously, if you aren't going to trust that I'm the seer and the list of people that I have supplied as humans then I would suggest you lynch me next. When I'm revealed as a human you will have a bunch more people that you can definitively add to the clear list. Of course, you will also be down a seer but ... Scan List: Night 0: Dubb - human, creature of the night (=thief) Night 1: Dacman - elemental Night 2: Cronin - elemental Night 3: Ardent - human, magic (=druid) Night 4: Barkeep - human, faith (=priest) So if you believe me then you believe those other three humans I've indicated. Given that we have already killed two demons I think it would be to rationalize six demons, plus a possible raise in King/Saldana. I mean, seriously ... We don't need to think too seriously about the lynch until night actions are done. But I view any attempt to lynch Barkeep at this point as pointless. It isn't like I don't think you are a human, having shown the Duke role already, so I'm not saying anything like that. Just trying to make sure we are focusing on either the elementals or demons and not humans. |

OK, so here is how I see it:
Cronin - elemental (confirmed by view) Saldana - likely demon convert since supposedly raised by SnDvls King - likely human, since Barkeep raised him. Some questions on initial death Pass - demon or bodyguard Blade - Duke (confirmed by use of power) WVU - Grizzled Soldier (confirmed by use of power) Path/Taz - Common Soldier (presumed confirmed by use of power) Barkeep - priest (confirmed by view) Hoopsguy - seer (as said by me) Ardent - druid (confirmed by view) Dubb - thier (confirmed by view, use of power) I think that cover all 12. If SnDvls was a convert, would he be able to raise? If SnDvls was a convert, then demons would have only started out with Gram and one other at most. So 1-2 demons to start, then two days to get their first conversion while making it appear like they killed him and then having to use a night action to raise him. Wow, this seems like a ton of work ... If Pass is in fact the bodyguard, then the soldier theory for Taz/Path has to be examined more closely. Or else we are left with the idea that some of the demonstrated roles are aligned with demons. There is no doubt in my mind, based on my scans, that each and every one of the players I scanned was 100% human on the night that I scanned them. |

This morning begins on a somber note. One of the most highly spoken souls in the fortress has been slain by parties unknown. Hoopsguy has been found dead! Searching his room, you find a multitude of mystical items, including a large mirror, a wide selection of mind-altering drugs, and various arcane tomes. For once...there is no vile smell awaiting you. No gut-wrenching rotting fish smell, no filthy yaks, nothing. There is merely a small piece of parchment attached to a sign that says, "Fuck you Jobu!". Apparently the elementals have something of a mutiny on their hands. I'm sorry, hoopsguy. I actually protected you on Night 4. I was hoping that by making the bold statement that you were protected, I would get the wolves to go for someone else. Looks like they called my bluff.

That description does not seem to fit with a seer, but he was human. In my mind since he wasnt protected despite pass saying he would be pass has to go today
