Depends on how cunning. If it's just to a seer scan, we'd probably know if we'd gotten him by now. If he shows up completely as Jedi...that would really suck.

If Embleton doesn't exist...does that mean Master Saldana was really a Sith, trying to get the best and brightest of the Jedi Order onto a single flight so they could get wiped out, sorta like Palpatine did in the extended universe?

Well, I suppose the next showdown is between me and hoops. The only other option I'd see is hoops living and finding one of the sith.

That would also rely on everyone's ability to believe him.

I likely will not be able to vote tomorrow, as I will be on the road home to Missouri. If I can sneak in a vote, I'll try...but it will be without much reading. I'll likely vote with the majority at the time.

I'm just going to state my intentions for tomorrow in case I am targeted for the night kill. Path was in my highly suspected list and if he didn't get lynched today I would still have had that doubt about him. Gramm was on my most trusted list but for the sheer fact that we haven't found a Sith yet, you're getting demoted. Hoops moves up a tad because he didn't have to reveal that I'm a Jedi. He could be Sith trying to get on my good side but I doubt that.

My targets for tomorrow will be KWhit and SackAttack. Hoops had been after KWhit earlier but got distracted after the whole me/Qwik/AE/Tanglewood thing. SackAttack because I don't think he's received a vote yet. He's been vocal but not too vocal to get noticed and quiet but not too quiet to be considered flying under the radar, if you get what I mean.

Ok, II got the reaction that I wanted out of both Hoops and AE. Add that with Taz's post on KWhit, who is my real #1 suspect. He has a lot of votes on players that are still "unknown" and I know that is one of my play styles when I am a bad guy.

Not sure what to think about Hoops now. He's the only veteran left of the group that was being discussed with path getting lynched and ardent getting night-killed.

I would think that if Hoops were Sith, he would rather have left AE alive to give him somebody to play off of in today's voting. The only way this kill makes sense to me is if the Sith are trying to isolate Hoops as a lynch target, and with 9 of us left, we have to be pretty damn close to the endgame.

We haven't gotten a Sith yet, and it seems evident from today's description that the killer tonight is different from the usual culprit, so for the game not to be over, one of the following three options has to be the case:

1) seven Jedi left, two Sith left
2) six Jedi left, three Sith/dubb-style Jedi left
3) five Jedi left, four Sith/dubb-style Jedi left

No 8-1 option, because of the "stronger" feel of tonight's killer. There can't be any more than 4 Sith, because otherwise the game would be over.

Going way back in the thread to where saldana said "kill me if the game isn't over by Friday," and that we haven't killed an actual Sith yet, I think the numbers had to be such that option #1 is off the table.

So that means our advantage is either 6-3 or 5-4. If it's the former, we've got basically one day left before our backs hit the wall. If it's the latter, then today is time for all the cards on the table. If there's a seer or witness out there...we need you.

I don't think Hoops is Sith. With the success they've been having at picking us off, there's absolutely no reason for them to make a play that would highlight one of their guys for a lynch like this. Hoops is a good player, but asking him to wiggle out of a spot like that would be pretty unrealistic, especially if it's a 6-3 game right now.

I think this almost has to be an isolation effort by the Sith to implicate him so that we lynch him. If we do that, he turns up Jedi, and it's a 6-3 game, then we're looking at 4-3 tomorrow. If it's 5-4, and he's Jedi, then that might be their endgame move to force the 1:1 ratio and win the game.

My initial thought is Grammaticus, because he's been hitting hoops awfully hard the last couple of days, but I'm going to reserve judgment until I see if we get any new cards on the table today.
