Thanks for the guard. I know the scientists are important to our mission, so they are surely targets for the spawn. |

Of course it's obvious, the Spawn Overlord manipulated things to frame me. Why on earth would I kill bullet when it would obviously doom me? Did I kill people last game when I knew it would implicate me? Of course not, when I'm bad I want to stay in the game undetected! |

A valiant away team sets out. How will this turn out for them? No one quite knows, but a stalwart team made up of kwhit, alan, anxiety, dubb, and king is going to find out. The group makes their final good byes and sets out for the coordinates from the recording. The crew waits in suspense to find out the results of their attack.

Besides, you never know when you need an engineer. Maybe there's a door you need to get through and an engineer can splice into teh electronics or something

Unfortunately, after a stellar day of research on the first day, my rolls have been shit. From the sounds of my PM, I'll have something actually useful tomorrow. Of course, I've thought that for the last couple days, but it basically sounds like I'll really have something to add tomorrow. So don't let me die tonight. I wanna know what the hell I get out of all this research, dammit. |

Ok caught up on stuff. yay we got the crystals, but I also am on the same page as Talgian that I would rather us get off the planet and reduce further exposure, but at this point I think thats moot since we already have all the teams out (including myself!) So now just hoping for success or something that helps tips the odds in our favor at least.
I don't really have any good feels on people right now, from what it looks like in the rules, once someone is trusted, they could still end up turning into a spawn later, so not sure exactly how to form a circle of trust in this game. Maybe people who played the last game can help tell us what you did to be successful (if you were). only other comment I have is in response to path: Quote:
I can't quote PMs, but my PM definitly said I watched you work on the water plant all night. I don't think you are lying or anything, since its obvious to me that you had nothing to do with Bullet's death since I can vouch for you. Out of curiosity, the night before did your PM mention me when you repaired the engine room, since I was there too. Just wondering if the PM simply states who repaired it with you or not, and doesnt mention folks guarding or such. |

Why do you keep twisting my words. First you called me an engineer. That was incorrect since I am a security crewman. Then you said I spied on dubb. I clearly said that I protected him last night: Quote:
Please stop trying to lump me in with the Spawn. All you are doing is stirring up stuff where there is nothing to be found.

First one hour goes by, and then two. The crew is starting to get nervous when a crew appears in the distance. A cheer goes up, until you realize that you are that there are only four returning. It seems that KWhit is not among them. When the crew gets back aboard you flood them with questions about how the mission went…

I corrected the engineer mistake in the next post... if I didn't have some trust in you I wouldn't have sent you on the mission so ease up...questions have to be asked and put out there. I put one out there about me yesterday w/ Schmidty. so what do you now know from the kill the overlord mission? I'm sure you have gotten a PM from BK about it by now. |

Ok there was alot of info in the PM.. trying my best to pass it along without forgetting stuff..
Basically the way there seemed easy, almost too easy. the outer defenses were paper thin, and we had no problem getting through the outer part. Once we got further inside, it became much different, almost impassible. Dubbs came up with the idea to just blast our way through. So Dubbs and I teamed together and plowed the path clear for us to reach the overlord. At first the overlord seemed impossible to kill. We thought we were all a goner.. but we rallied up, and managed to hold our own till it looked like we might actually win. Suddenly the Overlord got a second wind, killed our captain, injured king and scared us away.. We hurt him though, we hurt him bad. |

When we arrived at the tunnels that led to the overlord we were confronted with a bunch of creatures. Alan T laid the smack down on most of them and led us to where the overlord is.
However, the passage was really narrow and we got pinned down. This is where we lost KWhit and we thought we wouldn't survive. We were able to rally and as we retreated back we landed one last blow to the overlord. Assessment: We can probably finish him off with one more attack.

Okay - KWhit sacrificed his life to save us, I managed to injure the Overlord and ALan T was a monster against them, very reliable.

For game purposes, the AP stays with the position. So SnDvls has 3 AP, Talgian does not have any, etc. I understand that this is not realistic, but it would be unbalancing to do otherwise.

I would have to say from the three accounts presented that those three have all moved up on my trust list.
all three posted within 2 mins of eachother and similar accounts. no way the spawn could have been that organized that quickly. thanks guys. |
