I can still see blade being bad, though. Why? Because very nearly got away today. I wasn't going to buy that the person in black was his servant; why would a servant be in black, and why would I care what he was dressed like? I'd recognize a servant. So someone visited him, he had to come up with an excuse. This excuse seems like it's worked pretty decently, until now.

You outed barkeep when he was coming under heat. That would make sense if tyrith outed someone like CW. But outting me, who most people trusted? Come on lathum, thats not the same at all

Let me say this: according to my role PM, I see nothing that would stop a conversion from happening. I make up for it because I have a very high percentage to outright kill someone who I block.

going to have dinner now. My vote on Blade stands but I am still suspicous of CW.
I will say this, I will lose in a duel to anyone so if you think I am innocent I suggest we do the best to keep the vote close because we will learn nothing from a duel involving me. |

Well if you dont buy one you dont buy the other. We have yet to see his ineffective skills, so i dont see how you factor that in to his lynch ducking being good or evil.

I don't buy a musketeer taking the duel there unless they have excellent skills because of blade's claims. The muskeeters are not these infinitely powerful swordsmen; barkeep killed one, and I'm pretty sure that if I got into a duel with one I'd kill them, too.

As I understand Tyrith's story, it doesn't sound like he could have prevented anything other than a direct attack. I mean, if he saw someone come to your door and talk to you then it's pretty unlikely he would have all of a sudden gone "oh noes, a CONVERSION! I better do something!". Not to say that happened, of course, but I don't believe from his own description that he could prevent a conversion.

Damnit. We have to decide on some sort of a course of action here....okay, my thoughts on all the people up for grabs:
-Blade: He could be bad. I don't have any clue. It'd be one of the best played games in WW history if he is. But I really don't want to lynch him today, and the alternative--me dueling him--is worse, because if I lost it wouldn't tell you jack. -Lathum: Well, he saw the whole blade scenario before I did, but I think he's being at best paranoid. If he's bad it's not a bad play to get us to try to lynch blade today -- which I will not help you in. -CW: I think he probably won his duel because Jonathan was also spectacularly average. Could he be lying? Sure. |

Problem is, if he was converted there's really nobody left who can scan him.
If he wasn't converted, has someone else? Since there's been two kills per night, probably not. If so, top suspects would likely be M. hoops and M. Fouts since they were sort of cleared early. I feel pretty good not voting today for the following: M's & Mme's hoops, Blade, Tyrith, Fouts, BrianD, LSG, myself. That leaves: M's st.cronin, DaddyTorgo, Lathum, ntndeacon and Coffee Warlord. I need to decide in the next 15 minutes since I'll be out after work until after deadline.

Well, hoops could still be a seer. He is the only person who hasnt claimed a role, so he could possibly scan me tonight.

True. The point is that I wouldn't want to vote you today without more proof because I don't want to lose your role. I suspect we'll know more about that tomorrow though, since you've got to be high on the list for both the good and bad guys around. So back then to my list: I'll give M. st.cronin the benefit of the doubt for now since kills have been happening while he's been 'out' even though I don't consider him 100% good yet. M. DaddyTorgo was cleared by M. BrianD, and if there was a conversion attempt and a kill last night I think that bodes well for M. ntndeacon. So that leaves M. Lathum and M. Coffee Warlord. Flip a coin: VOTE M. COFFEE WARLORD I don't even know if this will count if I lose the duel.

Alright, kids. I know a lot of you don't trust me, and frankly, there's not much reason for me to be trusted. But, for what it's worth, here's my vote, and my reasoning. Take it for what you will.
Throwing out any sense of logic and history for the moment and lookin at nothing but tone of "voice", I'm inclined to buy Lathum over Blade, despite the fact I've been trusting Blade for quite some time now. Blade went from cool and collected to instant panic/attack mode the second he was questioned. Now, it's Blade we're talking about here, but still. The analyzer in me says "wtf". I wish I could stay and follow the next few hours, but as I like my woman more than I like any of you, I'm throwing this down now. Got some time left tonight, but not much. Vote Blade |

I really, really want a lynch today. I also don't want to vote for blade today. There's a good chance blade isn't even _alive_ tomorrow. Lathum or CW, I'm really rather ambivalent, but I would like a majority.

If I die tonight look at the early votes on me as suspects for tomorrow.
Blade, perhaps we can come to an agreement where we lnch CW today and move forward tomorrow. If I was a musketeer I would not have bought this much scrutiny on myself. |

Woman's here. Self preservation time, it seems. I know damn well I'm good. I know that not about anyone else. I'm frankly kind of wondering if Lathum and Blade didn't set this up between them to cement trust and off an easy target.

Caught up. I have a role, but I'm not sure there is any positive to revealing it at this point in time. I think I've been pretty consistent in my posts saying I'm mediocre at everything so as not to put any kind of a target on my back.
If people don't consider me a strong candidate for today's lynch, then I would prefer to keep some level of mystery about what I may or may not be able to do. Let the bad guys come after me tonight if they think that helps their cause. Let them leave me as a topic of discussion for tomorrow - either way, I would prefer not to tip my hand and give them more information to base their attack. That said, if pressed I'll release information that I hold. Right now it looks like the vote is in position for us to get a majority, if need be ... just a vote switch or two on top of my vote for one of the leaders. Is the group satisfied that we will likely learn something from the duel tonight (likely dead Guard) and that the voting records are meaningful relative to skills shown in the duel? I'm around for about ten minutes now and should be back at 8PM CST for the final hour. |
