I have an extreme fear of snakes and my ex-roommate sent me that e-mail because she wants to ruin my weekend.
Done.

According to snopes, that huge python was not able to lift the wallaby out of the water after spending an hour trying.

I am glad to hear that's a wallaby, I was assuming it was a full grown kangaroo which was making that snake like 70 feet long, in my imagination. |

I would suspect that the python was 70 feet long. Its lower part extends off the screen.

It's like watching the guy getting hit with the cannonball in the stomach, but instead of a guy it is a girl and instead of the stomach it is breasts.

More from the Oddee site. I am nuts about bridges but I have not kept up on some of the newer ones. Some of these blows my mind.

That would be something considering the world record is 32 feet.

Really? That seems low. Edit: I did look it up and it appears the record is almost 15 meters. I guess I was recalling an old photo from my childhood (from Guiness?) that showed 15-20 men in a line holding a very, very long snake (which, come to think of it, could only be 40 feet or so). Nevermind. Last edited by Buccaneer : 12-16-2008 at 06:57 PM. |

Bizarre Mugshots
Anna Clifford: erratic driving. I wonder if her stylist was also booked for erraticness? Matthew Gibeault: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Ya think so? Denise Dean: multitude of charges. I think Noop could think of a few more. Elijah Payne: Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Kidnapping. Ummm...I am thankful I live in a relatively safe place? Trevor Newbauer: Disorderly Conduct. LOL...can't think of anything snide, just laughing too hard. Robert McDonald: Theft. With those puppydog eyes?? We finally get a picture of HA. Elaine Vengen: Trespassing. Do NOT want. Rosa Judith Vazquez: Battery and Criminal Mischief. She probably can kick your ass and my ass...at the same time. Dion Milam: Murder. This scared the shit out of me. Please, tell me he's locked away...forever? |
