So.. who are the werewolves most likely to kill? Those of us who have been rather vocal lately, or those who have been quiet.

Depending on if they kill someone in my personal circle of "trusted people", then they're only pointing the finger at themselves. However, if they avoid the more vocal people, they're maintaining that uncertainty that's been so successful for them the past few nights.

I don't think the night is over yet... or we would have seen a deathnotice from Saldana.

Or am I wrong? I was under the impression that each night is followed by a Death Eater kill?

What seems like the longest night of your lives passes slowly. Each of you spends most of the time alone not even involving yourselves with the other Wizards in the village. The pub is practically empty. The town is so quiet, one would swear they could hear the voices of the dead floating through the town. You actually become accustomed to the silence, and many of you seem content to have it continue until the night is torn apart once again by the electric green glow of death shining in all your windows. The Death Eaters, who have now been having their way with all of you since SnDvls died are running through the streets roaring with laughter after their latest attack, apparently, the fact that they continue their spree with impuninity is amusing to them. Nothing is amusing to the rest of you however when the sun rises and the events of last week are reenacted as though there had been no interruption in the cycle of death. You all go to the place where the Dark Mark had hovered, and once you dejectedly enter the home of dacman, you find his corpse, slashed diagonally from shoulder to hip, just like Saldana's so many nights ago. His organs spilled out on the floor of his kitchen, and his mug of hot chocolate with marshmallows spilled on the floor next to him. dacman was definitely not a Death Eater, unless the Dark Lord gives gifts of fuzzy pink bunny slippers to his followers. And with that, you understand the laughter of the night before....the question now is, will their mockery of your dead comrade's footwear steel your reserve and rally you to victory, or will you continue to cower in fear of the darkness as He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named takes all that you hold dear for his own.

day 6 has begun, voting ends at 9:30pm tonight (and i will count RA's vote because it came after 9:30 am)

And we're off..

I was working my excel-sheet earlier and noticed that dacman's votes pretty clearly pointed out that he was not a deatheater, so we don't only lose a good guy, it doesn't help clear the picture any.

dacman had a clean voting record, usually voted one time and stuck with his vote. He voted for SnDvls early (the second person to vote) and never changed.

I'll be waiting with my vote for a few hours to see if anyone does anything interesting, but my list stands:

1) Grammaticus
2) dubb
3) Kwhit

Let me give you some stats:

Quick comment:

KWhit looks extremely suspicous if you just go by voting record..

First day vote on Superman, switched to Qwik for the bandwagon (quite late being number 42 in 47 total votes)

Second day he voted for WVUFan very late in the rush to "save" SnDvls.

Third day he was MIA.

Fourth day he voted for Mr W (who we now know was a wizard) early (10/30).

Fifth day he first voted Jesse, then swapped to Path12 (wizard) just before the deadline.

Listen guys, as most of you know, I had duty this weekend...which meant I had 12 hours at work, 12 hours off. I spent most of that time in front of a computer, and I took that time to review every single post we had made. It took forever. The very next post will be the results of my work.

I sat down and "replied to thread" the first day. I realized I wasn't going to finish, but since I didn't have much, I just posted what I had seen so far...which was pretty much nothing.

Yesterday, I saw something pretty incredible. I think I caught a Death Eater in a lie. I nearly posted the following post yesterday morning, but as I continued to read and write I began to worry I might be killed during the night actions as a result. So, I saved the information for today.

All right. I've done my college homework, my sailors are asleep. I can try and tackle this now. Yesterday I spent most of the night swimming through the posts looking for anything that might help me.

Taken from the day sndvls was lynched. I bring this up because I think I read yesterday that a few people are suspicious of him. Only one person, Taz, left their vote on him that day. No one has voted for him since. This probably has more to deal with the fact he was the "lynch"pin (I know...groan) that sent sndvls out of the game.

One question remains for me...and it was brought up but really not addressed. Superman didn't vote the first day. When asked, he said "...by the time the deadline came I could not make an informed desicion.(post 516)"
Dubb and dacman both question this, but no answer is provided. I can understand it's hard to choose someone to lynch on day 1. That's why I usually rely on my old standby Schmidty. However, by the time Superman was in to vote, Neon had revealed his role and outed Qwikshot.

Coder, who previously said he had read the Potter books, quoted the Anti-Disapparation Charm stuff from somewhere. In post 663, Coder defends Sndvls by saying Sndvls claimed to have no knowledge of HP (sndvls did claim this, btw), and therefore wouldn't have been clever enough to make this up.

Cronin, ironically, in post 666, said "[sndvls] could very well have been fed the idea by another death-eater. After thinking about it, I like him as a death-eater even more now."

Later in 663, coder says we have nothing to lose by giving sndvls the benefit of the doubt, and that coffee warlord's "relentess attempts" made the warlord more suspicious.

My vote for WVU came soon afterward in post 670. Looking back, I may have been influenced by coder's posts. Neon's arrival was marked at post 716. By 722, Neon threw his red challenge flag into the ring. Neon began burning everyone who challenged sndvl's guilt, starting with alan t, moving to kwhit, and finally to me. In 858, Neon included Path and Mr.W, due to their ill fated late votes on WVU. It's a little puzzling in hindsight that coder wasn't listed, but that's probably because Neon didn't see it in time.

Sndvls is lynched.

Neon posts his circle of trust in 887. "st. cronin, wvufan, lathum, kingfc22, cw, superman"

Coder posts for the first time in 902. Coder quotes Neon's suspect list. I find this interesting looking back at it. 1 hour, 20 minutes later, and perhaps he was just catching up on the posts like I was,

Neon's posts came AFTERcoder validated sndvls.

Two posts later, coder offers his explanation that the early morning hours may have had an effect.

Post 987, Coder is the first to respond to saldana's invisibility cloak post. He doesn't appear to be overly excited about it. Reading on, most everyone else doesn't either.

Lathum puts coder on his suspect list: Post 1036. Coder responds in 1060 and 1061. Lathum talks about cronin unvoting him in his post, but coder defends himself stating he never voted for Lathum. I don't think that's what Lathum was getting at. I think Lathum was seeing what I am now.

Lathum veers off target (IMO) in 1070.

Post 1080: WVU claims the invisibility cloak. It is never disputed. To me, this makes WVU a trusted villager. Coder says in 1120 he was going to cast a vote to WVU for his weak explanation (and a few of us thought it was), but says if we're ok with it, he is.

Post 1164: Wednesday hints, well at least RA and I think he did, he has a larger role.

Wednesday makes the late switch that sends alan t packing.

1284: Cronin dies from the night actions, but at the same time posts his circle of trust in 1285:

1287: Jeeber claims he's being framed for cronin's death.

1289: Wednesday speaks. At this point, I had already began to believe Wednesday. I had switched my vote off of him the night before to Alan T...which turned out to be a bad idea as well.

Desnudo, Superman=#54, and Jesse cast late votes for me, Jeeber, and path12, respectively.

That's my general pool of suspicion, although there are exceptions in Superman=#54 (tiebreaking vote for SnDvls), Lathum (kicked off the charge against SnDvls), WVUFan (invisibility cloak last night), and Alan (obviously). This is what might happen if the DEs see a lot of normal wizards getting suspicion and they want to vote without drawing attention to themselves -- they can safely cast a vote for any of us and then sit back and watch the fireworks, knowing that they are not in the position of starting a bandwagon or breaking a tie.

The next post Wednesday lists his suspects as "dacman, coder, Gram, Pass, Taz, Desnudo, and Jesse."

1311: Gramm posts his list of suspects. Coder is in the "invisible or nearly so" group.

1323: By now Lathum has forgotten his suspicion of Coder and is clearly focused on Path. For the 2nd day in a row he votes Path.

1347, 1348: Wednesday posts his thoughts on his suspects:
"* coder - really early vote for CW = highly suspicious as a "blend-in" lurker"
1348 he votes Coder.

1350: Coder addresses his status on Gramm's list...time zone differences are what keep him "invisible", my word, not his.

1355: Coder mentions he doesn't like Wednesday's list...that he has a wizardry feel for all of them.

1378: Wednesday takes his vote off of coder and puts it on me. That momentarily tied the vote up. Me being online, I cast a vote for Wednesday, also out of self preservation in post 1380. As I vote, I restate that I believe Wednesday is a villager. 1382: Wednesday acknowledges my reason.

Coder posts a voting list in 1457. In 1459 he writes:

1466: CW dies due to the night action.
1469: Seeing CW die, and the way he came after me the day before, I respond that I'm being setup.
1470: Coder admits that CW was on his suspect list, though he wasn't considered since day 2. He votes Gramm in 1473. 1501: Coder states if Gramm is a villager, feel free to vote "me, Schmidty and Desnudo"

1519: Gramm thinks of doing something extreme. In 1523, he says he's put it in motion. Looking back, the order, if there was one, must have been along the lines of, "If I'm lynched, duke "X player" instead." At that point, gramm leads the vote at 4-3-3 (Gramm, path, me). By the end of the day, it's 9 path, 6 gramm, 3 me).

1534: I call out the quiet ones of the game, and vote Jesse (later moved to Gramm to try for the tie). I state I believe Gramm is the duke, and take a ration of crap from Schmidty for it. Maybe not a ration, but he does ask why.

1633, 1634: Coder posts the Day 5 vote timeline and his suspicion list.

Coder engages in some drunk posting...nothing to see here.

I started this last night and finished it earlier this morning hoping to find out more about people...somewhere around 5 am.

I think I did. I trust Lathum a lot more now.
I thought in the beginning I was going to doubt Superman, but Coder's posts caught my attention. Specifically, where I wrote above:

Neon's posts came AFTER coder validated sndvls.

Now here this: I'm not claiming to be the seer...and now I'm thinking I'll save this post somewhere and actually post it tomorrow. I'm afraid if I post this today (Sunday) I won't live past the night actions tonight.

The other day I was calling out the quiet ones. I still believe that's the way to go. However, I'm positive I've caught Coder in a lie.

Coder, you've flown under the radar too long.

Coder, this didn't start out the way it looks. I originally began to question Superman...and then I saw what you did.

No defense really.. but this is my first game.. I think I've understood it more and more each day. I've made some terrible mistakes in voting for people that I have felt were bad.. I distrusted Coffee, I distrusted Wednesday..

for the apparatus-stuff I was just so excited I knew something. However, I also made several posts trying to clear up what it was.. I even went on to say that I lost confidence in my own knowledge on the issue (I can find the qoute but it will take a while). I first stated he was "legit", but then I wikied the dis-apparatus spell and was confused by what I read (which I posted).

I was willing to give SnDvls the benefit of the doubt because I fell for his lie.. I thought that if he was given a chance to protect Neon and failed, we knew he'd be a deatheater. If he'd succeeded, we'd have another one revealed.

Problem with all this is that it makes me out to be a fantastic liar... and I'm afraid to say that I'm not. I was just sitting here thinking earlier that I wonder how I would act if I was a deatheater, because I couldn't come up with a convincing lie if my life depended on it.

Looking forward to this.. first time a whole post (a huge one even) is dedicated to me, and only me .

VOTE Grammaticus After wrongly lynching path, I have to go for the other suspect at the time and that is Gram. The way I see it if Gram is the duke then he can use his power to lynch someone else. If Ardent has a strong suspicion of Coder then why can't Gram use his duke power to lynch Coder?

My lists go as follow:

TRUSTED

Desnudo
because he seems to think like me

Schmidty
gut feeling mostly, but seems to think like a wizard

Ardent
despite his feelings about me, he feels honest

Jeeber
I had suspicions about him based solely on the general consensus that he should be more active. Reviewing his voting shows that he's voted both for Gram and Dubb, two who I think are deatheaters.

Deatheaters in descending order:

Grammaticus
voting pattern speaks against him, but I don't buy the duke-stuff either

Kwhit
Voting pattern again. Few votes and bandwagon votes on deatheaters, otherwise known wizards

dubb
persistant in defending Gram, freaky voting pattern (above)

Superman
Guess this one will make Ardent happy since he's got Superman as trusted, and this confirms his theory about me . However, Superman he's been doing some dodgy voting as well. During day 5, Superman was the one to tilt the balance from Gram to Path. First he voted for Jesse without a reason, then he unvoted Jesse and voted for Path, his only explanation being "hmmmm".

Summary:

Now if all this is a big lie from me, don't you think I deserve at least a round of applauds?

Seriously, I offer you a simple solution. For the wizards to win we need to focus on one at a time. The Deatheaters have the benefit of being able to coordinate their votes better than we do. However, if we vote Grammaticus today and he is who he says he is, then he should be able to avoid the lynching and put me there. If he is the duke, then he survives a lynching and if he is a deatheater, then we finally get one back.

If he is the duke and then lynches me, then we have a new duke (is that how it works, if the duke uses his "power" to avoid being lynched and lynches a wizard, then someone else gets that role or what?)

I'm still suspcious of JeeberD, but the stronger suspects are Gramm and Coder. Gramm claims he is the duke. Coder's voting record doesn't look very good. I'm leaning towards voting for Gramm just to clear him, it would be interesting to see who he chooses to lynch.

Not sure if the role transfers, but if Gramm really is the duke, again, why did they kill Dacman last night and not him? I really wish Gramm would just comment one way or the other instead of being obscure about it. Either way, I think going Gramm today will help clear up matters and gives us the best shot at netting a DE (either him or his pick).
