Ok, I'm doing this this way because I really don't feel I have much left to offer the game in my role. I'd also like to expand the CoT.
I am the young Sherlock Holmes. Here's what I have. Day 1: Investigated Barkeep. Came up clean. Turned up dead on day 2. Day 2: Investigated Lathum. Came up clean. Turned up dead on day 3 Day 3: Investigated Tanglewood. Came up clean. Day 4: Investigated KWhit. Came up Good Scientist. Day 5: Investigated Gonzo. Came up clean. Day 6: Investigated Path12. Came up clean. Day 4 is where things got interesting. After 2 of my first three investigations came up dead the following day, I just fired a complete shot in the dark. Hit Kwhit. I probably should have investigated Oliegirl. But, I was very conflicted about that. I really felt it unfair to use that information to help me form my leads when looking for the Mad Scientist. However, it kinda ended up working out. As soon as the night killing was done, KWhit came out wanting to kill Oliegirl. Knowing he was the Good Scientist, I was determined to follow his lead, so I jumped on board. I am still as certain as I can be that she's the Mad Scientist. That brings us to last nights vote. Again, I was determined to follow Kwhit's lead, so when he came out wanting to lynch Schmidty, I was completely on board. I didn't know if Schmidty was a wolf, but I knew he wasn't a confirmed villager. By the way, this is why I kept defending BK when he went after Alan. BK was a no-lynch voter and wasn't the mad scientist. I was operating under the assumption that the MS needed some of the other players to complete his research. Therefore, it made sense that Also, I may never understand the way in which Alan first semi-revealed. Everyone thought he was bad in someway, and only a few were willing to give him a day or two to sort it out. If Alan hadn't revealed on day 3, he would have had to on day 4. BK was hard after Alan for all the right reasons and instead of working on his theories, or more importantly working on finding a real wolf, he had to spend time defending himself from Alan. Anyway, that's all I got. I have no new information at all, I have no hints, tips or any semblence of direction of the next vote. At this point, anyone who hasn't been cleared explictly by Kwhit is a target. I just wish I had more to go on. |

I stumbled upon the idea that maybe the Mad Scientist doesn't convert, but rather is a timer for us. If we don't find or kill the Mad Scientist in time, then he creates his army and the wolves win. |

In my reveal post, where it says "Therefore, it made sense that Also, I may never understand the way in which Alan first semi-revealed." It should read: "Therefore it made sense that the mad scientist would not want a day 1 lynching." |

young sherlock only searches for the mad scientist though right? so he could run right into a wolf and not realize it...

Yep, exactly. Which is why I felt my role was worthless, except to exonerate me from accusations of being a wolf. I really do believe that DC/OG was the Mad Scientist due to what Kwhit saw and the odd way that whole thing played out.

And I realize I wasn't on the block, but I felt the last thing I could offer was to at least take one more target off the list.

Ok.. so this at least tells us that JHandley is a villager and Gonzo is completely 100% clean since both JHandley and KWhit scanned him.
So, the CoT has expanded and that's definitely a good thing. |

That's pretty much what I got right now too. Well except I trust myself But really the only people that belong in the top trust category in general are special characters and those who have been scanned by KWhit. |

Also, I've got plans tonight for dinner. So I will not be around for the deadline vote.
I'm going to hold off on voting until 4pm pst and then cast then. I understand we're on Schmidty now, but I'd rather wait to see how the rest of the day plays out before casting a vote that I may not be able to change. |

That's my hope. Even if all I did was narrow the suspects, then I think it was a worthwhile reveal at this point in the game.

I think that we need to start looking at a conversion ability... Shouldn't the mad scientist be powerful enough to create another wolf? I think after we kill schmidty tonight, tomorrow we need to look at people that were cleared in the first three days

i think we started with 3 and had a conversion possible. now whether that conversion happened is anybody's guess. we don't know what conditions if any there were on the mad scientist converting...maybe it was a 2 night process and we lynched in the middle of it or something? or maybe it only had a % chance of success and it failed...who knows.

If this game isn't over once we lynch Schmidty and LSG I'll be pretty darn shocked. And I guess that's the point that we need to start concerning ourselves with whether or not one of the trusted people may have been converted.

I don't really see any movenment at all before the deadline. It appears that the die has been cast, and both sides are in a race to the finish.

the only way you'd know this is if you were the mad scientist, or if the scientist could communicate with the wolves... either way...looks like a lynch of you is the right move cronin...can you process early? i think we'd all agree nothing seems likely to change, and those 2 votes can't change anything VOTE NIGHTFALL |

i can say this. i'm not a wolf right now, and i have not had any notice that i was converted at all.
i get really pissed off when i get converted too. because then it's like...stabbing the team you've been fighting for in the back. so i hope i wasn't. |
