For me, the two biggest things are...
1). He's been quiet (Which is totally hypocritical, but hey.) 2). He didn't switch his vote to Qwik on Day 1 and voted for WVUFan on Day 2. |

My time on the internet tonight is being screwed with by the woman, she seems to bitch every time I get close to this thing, but I'll respond to this. I would not have believed Gramm if he came right out and said "I am the duke." But the fact remains, he hinted at his role at a time when he was in no danger. He didn't flat out say he was. He was asking what a duke should and could do. That in and of itself is usually a sign of a players role. I've never seen a bad guy "hint" at his role by asking how to play it. He had his vote on WVU and felt that Sun could protect the seer, so he was just asking about a possible duke. This alone would make me believe him. Couple it with the fact that no other duke has come out and claimed the role, and I believe it is obvious that he is telling the truth.

Sorry I haven't participated much today. I actually had to work at work (good god these people act like they pay me or something. ).
I can't help but thinking the DE's are being quiet and giving us just enough rope to hang ourselves with. If another wizard dies on this lynch, we need to start cutting the dead weight. I cannot in my mind get past the fact the Mr. W and path nearly saved a VERY important DE. That and path's explanation for voting WVUFan that day was laughable. If your a wizard, path, I'm sorry. VOTE PATH12

Just to clarify, I don't have a real strong feeling on Path either way, but I for now I believe Gramm when he hints that he is a Duke-like role, so Path makes more sense to vote for.

VOTE PATH12
I really don't have a strong feel on any of the top candidates. I was thinking of voting for Gram because if he is the duke then we can at least prove that he is a wizard since he'll have to use his duke power to lynch someone else. |

I'm sticking with Grammaticus. I think the argument that the DE would have offed him if he really was the Duke sticks.

Well this will definitely offer some insight if path12 turns out to be innocent. You all are ignoring the fact that Gram would be dead if he really were the duke.

I'm not ignoring it. When I left earlier, Gramm was the leading vote getter. When I returned, Path had I think three more votes and has recently picked up more. Moving my vote to Gramm at this point is useless.

Where's WVU been? I saw him earlier today. He didn't vote yesterday or today.

I don't see how it's useless, you switch and Path12 switches to Gram and it's a tie.

I'd like to test that. Why is he still alive if he is? You have a pretty clear role reveal early on and kills every night since. I can give a pass on the first few nights since they obviously figured out who the bodyguards and seer are. But after that?

Another bingo is that has anyone come to bat for Path? I haven't seen one person try and defend him. Maybe it's because they view him as a lost cause, but surely if he were a DE, someone would at least try and shift attention elsewhere?

At thi point, I have a strong feeling that Path is a wizard, but I think it's a lost cause. Too late, right?

And voting for other people is what exactly? Gram sure caught a lot of heat today. A smart DE wouldn't defend path directly if path were a DE, they'd try to shift attention elsewhere.

That's certainly true. And if Path12 is a DE, you can move me right to the top of the list. If he's innocent, you and the rest of the dog pile get put there. |

Point being, that I know I'm not a DE, and I'm pretty sure Schmidty isn't, so I know that no DE is making that move. You can't know that for sure obviously, but it's common sense to me.

Day 5 - Paranoia has definitely run rampant as the downhill slide enters its 3rd day. It seems like ages ago that SnDvls became the second Death Eater to snog the Dementor. Accusations fly at people that were originally thought to be sure things on the side of Good. As the day comes to a close, you all sit around the Wasted Wizard drinking heavily, no one able to cope with the possibility that you are going to be wrong again, and another Wizard will die tonight. Third time's a charm seems to be underlying theme as the votes seem to land en masse on Path12, who offers little resistance, and no one seems to be interested in rising to his defense.
In your semi-drunken stupors, you don't really react at all to the entrance of the Dementor, who moves quickly towards Path12 and quickly ends his existance. The next 5 minutes are extremely sobering for the rest of you though, as the scene before you almost seems like you are watching a replay of the past two nights. One sleeve. Nothing. Other sleeve. More nothing. Another innocent Wizard gone, another night of terror on the way. You search Path12's rooms which are filled with strange objects. Red smoke filled orbs and strange mirrors that don't actually show the people in front of them. They look alot like the things from Barkeep49's quarters. In fact they are the same. Sneakascopes and Foe Glasses that would have given Path12 a chance to escape if the Death Eaters had come for him in the night. Of course Dark Detectors only work if the people trying to harm you are evil...they did Path12 absolutely no good since he was killed by those he counted as his allies. it is now night 5. this cycle will end on Monday morning at 9:30. hope everyone is enjoying the game thus far, enjoy your weekends...i will be watching the playoffs on my new HDTV Last edited by saldana : 01-13-2006 at 10:01 PM. |

Well, we have a while to debate this, but that certainly makes things much clearer to me. The only question is, what's the ratio at this point?

Good job, DEs. You got another Wizard.
I really wish you people would listen to reason. Another wasted day. Another Wizard closer to DE victory.

Those names just keep coming up, and for the most part, people keep ignoring them. Infuriating.

It's obvious that the DEs have been piling on whoever is suspect that they know for sure is a wizard. There are definitely at least one in the path12 voting list; however, there are likely DEs in the non-path voters as well, since they don't want to all be caught voting for wizards.

28 to start, so figure 5-6 DE's. 18 left with 2 DE's dead, so figure 3-4 DE's left.
I believe we have left: 6.Ardent Enthusiast 7.Dacman 8.Lathum 11.Passacaglia 12.Desnudo 13.Coder 14.Raiders Army 15.Schmidty 16.KWhit 17.TazFTW 18.Dubb93 19.JeeberD 20.WVUFan 21.Kingfc22 22.Superman=#54 23.RPI-Fan 24.Grammaticus 27.Jesse_Ewiak

Hell, NC brought Dubb's name up earlier than anyone else. Here is my current list. Please, remaining wizards, let's try and think our options through carefully for the next vote: Needs to be tested in the next vote: Grammaticus, if Gram is evil, Dubb goes next High Level of Suspicion RPI-Fan - says nothing, just votes and leaves. His vote started the landslide. He's tops to me besides Gramm. I would be very suprised if he was not a DE. Jesse - already been discussed. I'd have no qualms if he or RPI went in the next vote. Medium Level of Suspicion Dacman - gaining, though need more info KWhit - gut plus voting WVUFan - quiet since his near death Superman - yes he was "cleared" early but still needs investigating. Maybe converted? Passacaglia - not really sure on him at all, could be here or neutral, so I'll go with the gut. Neutral Level of Suspicion AE - bad voting, but he does have a reasonable excuse. History with CW needs to be taken into consideration JeeberD - I think the victim of a witch hunt, has a reasonable excuse. Much more likely candidates than him, imo. Lathum - haven't really gotten a good read, although he seems to be trying to do the right thing Somewhat Trusted Coder - seems to have good intentions RA - ditto Mostly Trusted Schmidty - willing to take risks and take unpopular stands. Definitely unwolfish. Trusted The dead |
