Racer, someone posted the assumption earlier that the dead Olympians who are being pounded (see the end of day recaps) suggested that Atlas was the Titan doing the kills. Furthermore, Atlas is the Titan associated with great strength.

I don't know that he is in the game, but it made sense to me in the context of this game so I've included it with my assumptions. I think it is almost certain that there are at least two Titans remaining (3+ starting, one dead).

Racer, no holding back now, considering ardent revealed everything about his role, and you're on the block. It's either you or him.

What can you do as Odysseus?

Alright guys. I'll tell you what my power is because I really think it'd be bad for the Olympians if I am killed. It deals with the idea of the Trojan Horse. If I choose to follow the same player that the Titans attempt to kill, then I kill the Titan by sneak attacking. If I kill a Titan I am also banished from the game for underhanded tactics.

RaceR's explanation of his power makes way more sense to me than Ardent's. Either way though...i think we get a 1-1 and we're in good shape.

I gotta go eat dinner but i'll be around on and off till deadline. Friday nights are usually slow, so

RaceR...if we can't get enough votes moved and you are the innocent one, at least know that we'll get a 1-for-1 out of it, so your sacrifice won't be in vain.

How do the points system work with that?

Racer's reveal just feels wrong.

Racer was in the thread when ardent revealed, and he reveals an entire hour later.

As it is, we get a Titan today or tomorrow.

Unless they're both titans and are fucking with us... or one of them is Medusa, trying to buy the Titans some time in a desperate attempt.

For the record, I am more inclined to believe ae's reveal. If I can't convince anyone to have their votes remain on Racer, I'm moving my votes over to ae.

My wife called and is taking me out for a late dinner. So there is a good chance I might be a bit late with the results tonight. The deadline is still when the deadline is.. (10pm EST... or maybe earlier )

Reminder, weekend play is extended due to people not being around much. I am setting deadline for Day 5 at 9pm EST on Sunday night (instead of the normal 10pm EST) due to not having internet at my new house yet, and having to come to my apartment to run the night deadline.

But I will argue that Racer is probably the right lynching target, and we need to consolidate our votes.

Because I doubt ae would have been able to think up as complex rules that he claims he has for them not to be true.

And that the convenience of Racer's reveal, the pure and utter coincidence that ae could have picked the very role that Racer had... it's very highly improbable.

I'm almost sure Racer is lying, and lying really well.

Neon, so what is Racer's angle here? His lie buys him one day at most and ensures a trade-off with a Hero, not an Olympian?

If he was looking to bluff, wouldn't he want to try and take out an Olympian?

True. Which is what strikes me odd about both these reveals. They're fighting over an unimportant role.

Of course, if ae was bluffing, wouldn't he have revealed himself to be one of the big two, to force a showdown, and weed out one of the Titans' necessary kills.

Racer's role sounds very detailed as well.

As far as AE's role...I think it seems there have been a lot of roles that are...monster-related considering the # of monsters in the game.

Neon, I agree that revealing as one of the big two was a better play for a fake. But then why did Racer choose to contest Odysseus instead of bluffing at one of those other roles?

I think it cuts both ways in terms of a fake reveal - the choice is interesting. I'm guessing Ardent took a shot at the role he thought was least likely to be in the game. There were already two heroes exposed, and Perseus seemed more likely on account of you being stoned by the Medusa.

This is what I'm thinking. If there's only two titans left, as Hoops suggested earlier, then I'd think they'd rather try and hide with a fake reveal than force a showdown with the remaining two of the Big Three. Looks like ardent was just rather unlucky with his who he chose to reveal as.

I like how hoops is prodding, but not necessarily pushing his argument to not lynch Racer, when this vote is basically a win-win situation either way.

Neon, I don't know what the right call is here. I laid out my case on why I suspected Ardent more than Racer and Chief back before Ardent had any votes, back before he revealed. I put the first vote on him.

I'm not sure what you are looking for me in terms of taking a stance here. But I'm beginning to think that you may be either a cultist or a "cunning Titan" based on your continued infatuation with me since Day 1. That, however, is a battle for another day.

I think everyone else should also look at them before deciding whether or not to keep their votes on me. I'm a good guy and have a power that can be useful to the Olympians.

And just how would you propose we "put that to the test tomorrow?"

I'm fairly confident that you, the cleared person, will survive the night. I'm less confident about my own state.

Again, there is a 1-1 trade in the works right now at a point in the game where it makes sense for us to take it. A cultist is not a priority compared to a Titan. A cunning Titan, if cleared by the seer, will most likely stick around for awhile. Maybe I'm looking for monsters under the bed, but I haven't understood your play all game long.

Not as much as I had expected earlier. With the votes obviously scattered, it's basically a 50/50.

Of course, I'm pulling for ae to be good and Racer to be bad so I don't look like an ass.

Agree with Neon that I would like to be backing the right (Trojan) horse.

But if we have a one-one here, and the loss is a Hero instead of Olympian, I think this is a definite win for the team. Worst case is that we trade a hero for a monster, as far as I can tell.
