WW CLVI - Clue: Master Detective - GAME OVER! MURDERERS WIN! (Post 1817)

I think based on what I know and some of the peripheral stuff we have seen going on that the latecomers are more likely to have a power that helps one group or a specific character rather than starting as wolves. But I'm just one of nine I guess, probably shouldn't be making such sweeping statements about the whole group

Well Lathum I guess CW probably didn't expect people with those roles to give themselves up quite as easy as everyone did. But it is a point well taken

Chubby narrowed down the field quite a bit for me it seems. With the other reveals there's no reason not to come out as the motorist now. My role's ability is to give a player an extra vote for the following day (helping to "drive" the vote), with the caveat that it can't be used twice on the same player and can't be used on myself. The first night I gave it to hoops since I knew he couldn't be Big 6, night 2 I gave it to Autumn under the same thought plus his initial vote on bulletsponge day 2, and last night I gave it to Chubby as I felt pretty sure he had a villager role with his reveal of Plum being good near deadline the previous night.

Seeing as Zinto was scanned good by brit, I presume he must be cunning, which makes sense as to why brit was allowed to live a couple days (though not why he wasn't killed last night).

Me too, and it worries me that we are so quick to say "oh he must be cunning". Of course I still don't actually think Brit is the seer, so...

I still can't get past the fact that despite CW saying we don't have traditional WW roles in this game we have now had a seer and a BG reveal and we are assuming there is a cunning as well. Something doesn't add up

If you believe Brit is the seer and you still want to hang Zinto in the chance that he's a cunning in a game without traditional WW roles that doesn't add up. I'll be very suspicious of anyone in that group

I do believe we need to play the odds that our seer scanned zinto cleared for now and I'm willing to take that as good for now. We'll cross that road at some point when we find out if brit is the seer after all. I gotta think that he's a murderer at some point if he continues to live without explanation. I guess the wolves could just keep him alive and let him eventually turn and then let us guess at the cleared scans.

I understand where you're coming from Mau, even if your conclusion is wrong. My role isn't that vital and with me dead I don't think Mustard will be able to be converted, so it won't be a big loss waiting an extra day to lynch Zinto.

So far we haven't really seen any big twists or turns or unusual things. The game has basically gone by the book, so I think until we see otherwise, we should play it by the book

I fit in this category. I scanned Zinto clean on N2, so he's good unless he's 1) converted or 2) the cunning.

FWIW, I cleared DT last night.

I think you've been totally hung up on the semantics there. It's very clear to me that the basic types are in the game -- with a small twist for most.

Believe what you want of course and skepticism is good in this game, but I think your time could be better spent on a different track.

to me the most logical explanation for having another murderer besides Boddy running around right now is that they have an option to silence (vote doesn't count) but it costs them a NK. Otherwise, i'm at a loss as to why we didn't have another kill last night

This only works once and either or. Unfortunatly the protection won't work 100% so I assume if Col. Mustard found me I would die.

So you are admitting you have no role ability and you have a weapon because you're Boddy.

No I have a role ability it is to kill someone at night or be protected from a night kill. I do have a weapon though no argument with that.

THat is true but that is because that is how it was worded in my role pm. If I was Boddy I would have started with all six weapons anyway. I would not have had to aquire one regardless.

He cannot become a murderer but he could and more than likely did due to Jags fake reveal as the motorist.

What does being a motorist have to do with acquiring a weapon? We know Boddy started off the game with six weapons per the role description. Every other role has been absolutely logical with the character except your description (the cook poisons, the slutty maid sleeps with someone, and so on).
