Absolutely! As much I have been a lifelong fan of college football in the West, I didn't know much about the Big Sky until this year. Followed every Jacks game even though it was hard to find online. He had the time of his life at the thrilling NAU-Montana State game (not to mention having the time of his life overall in Flagstaff). |

I don't follow the Big Sky closely, but my wife ('92) has mentioned a couple of times recently that she's heard they've been doing well. Looks like the game is on ESPN3, I'll have to figure out how to tune in (no, ESPN - I haven't been watching you online, either).

Yeah, hate to see that. Him going out on the cart still pumping up his backup, that's the kind of leadership you want. I can still hope Ole Miss takes advantage of his absence but respect the guy.

Might have been better for Ole Miss to suffer a loss than to win IF it leads to them keeping the overmatched interim coach however.

Has been the weak link for the team all year. At some point, someone was going to commit everything to the run and force Rosier to throw the ball.

Miami has been flirting with disaster against bad teams all season long and it finally bit them in the ass. The question is do they still get in if they can beat Clemson.

Pat Forde reporting that UF is moving on from Kelly.
Nothing set in stone yet, but seems likely he is headed to Westwood.

Ehhhh ... he's not the QB (IMO) his older brother is. That probably tells you what the chances of him being a strong starter at Miami is honestly.

One has nothing to do with the other, of course, but a late season loss by Miami which might knock them out of the playoff brings some level of satisfaction to a fan who saw his team lose their chance at a national title by losing a late game to Miami.

Over here in the UK, all the buzz has been about Darnold and Rosen as the next big thing at QB.
I am watching Missouri @ Arkansas and Drew Lock looks like a QB that can go onto the next level. Looks like he has a good size and is only a Junior. Will he come out next year or stay on his senior year? Haven't heard his name mentioned but what is the opinion over there in the US? |

A great college QB does not necessarily equate to success in the NFL. He's got the college season TD record now and he's ripping up AR defense but I'm not convinced he's a first rounder yet. IMO, if they give him anything but a first rounder, he should stay. |

In the past, the committee has put a lot of emphasis on winning the conference championship.

Hard for me to believe Miami stands a chance to get in.
Assuming AL beats AU and then GA beat AL by a small margin, I think AL still stays in top 4. |

whisky an 18 pt fave tomorrow.
assuming they win and get in the playoff I can take them NOW to win the championship at 10/1 that still seems like lighting money on fire and flushing it down a toilet.

And us much as people probably hate it and/or won’t want to admit it, the Miami loss today did nothing but help osu chances at sneaking in the playoffs again as a 4 seed assuming they beat mickchicken and Wisconsin.
Sooners win out....in Clemson wins out...in (and in doing so eliminates Miami as they would have 2 losses and not a conf champ) Bama wins out ....in (and in doing so eliminates auburn with 3 losses and Georgia with 2 losses and no confidence champ) Osu would jump nd, Auburn, Georgia Wisconsin and Miami putting them at 4. I know some think the conf champ isn’t that important, but it is. There were exceptions to that rule last year for osu/psu debate. But if osu wins out and the above happens...book it and hate it but osu is in. |

Too bad the UCF/Miami game couldn't be fit into the schedule after the hurricane. I'd take UCF in that matchup and honestly think they should be in over the Wisconsin/OSU winner. They played a tougher schedule than Wisconsin and wouldn't have 2 losses like OSU.

The AAC deserves serious consideration for being treated as a power conference. The last two seasons they've been at least the 5th best conference in FBS and this year I think you can argue for them over both the Pac 12 and B1G.

I really hope Mark Richt can keep a kid like Quinton Flowers within Dade County in the future. The state's traditional Big Three really better step their recruiting game up. The smaller schools are coming if they are not already here.
