It struck me at the time that there was one person more than any other that seemed to be pushing the vote away from MrsS. Now this stuck out to me before I even knew that MrsS was a wolf. That person is Eaglefan and he will be getting my vote today.

As I read back through, it's not quite as blatant as I remembered it being, so I could be wrong about him. But he kept on suggesting that the Repubs were luring us into a false sense of security by splitting their vote and would all switch to one of the Dems at the end (he's not the only one that thought that, BTW). So he thought we should pool our votes onto a Republican.

However, he kept suggesting other Repubs and not MrsS (who would have been the obvious choice since she was slightly leading in votes at the time). If it was really a case of "let's make sure the Repubs don't trick us," MrsS would have been the obvious choice to vote for.

In addition, he was already on my radar for coming after me really strongly yesterday morning - accusing me of a number of things without any cause to do so including lying about who I slurried/supported. It struck me as a wolf trying to discredit me with no real evidence to do so.

Like I said, I could be wrong, but it's the best I can offer today. I'm away for a bit but will be back to discuss around 2-2:30 eastern time.

Vote Censure Eaglefan

This is good stuff. What about your vote for Mrs. S on Day 1? I don't expect that any of her wolfie friends would have needed to raise a stink, since by the time you voted for her, it was pretty clear what both parties were going to do (IIRC), but I'm curious to see if there was a reaction that day as well.

As I mentioned before, EF's actions have been strange to me as well. Voting for who we put up for Speaker just seems like general poor logic then the Tyrith vote struck me as well.

Additionally, his posts in here have seemed really hell-bent on sowing discord among the parties. I know I'm guilty of that as well, but I like to think any partisan bickering I've done has been more on-topic where his seem more random and directed just at starting bickering.

Should more Dems agree with this notion, I'll likely vote EF myself, but my most trusted Dem doing so means a lot IMO.

Something has struck me since day 1 and knowing that I am not the only party member to feel this, I feel better in this vote.

Are you talking to me? Yeah, that's what I was talking about when I said "Day 1" -- I really meant Day 2.

Before I saw KWhit's post, I had mentioned EF as one of my two suspects in our party thread. It's much more of just a vague gut thing for me though, I don't know if I feel strongly enough to vote for him yet.

I double-checked the posts that KWhit suggested and I agree with his assessment. Knowing what we know now, EF's posts do look like he was trying to save Mrs. S. I am comfortable with this vote.

I'll have to go back and check that day's events, but there was no need to really complain about my vote being on MrsS per se, since she wasn't in the running for lynch (it was between henry and clap). The reaction I got was more discord about splitting the party's vote than any obvious attempt at saving someone, I think. But I can check to make sure.

Well, I wish it hadn't turned into a dogpile, because we're not going to learn anything -- the wolves have probably started feasting on their own. But I also don't think there is a productive way to make the vote broader, and I really like the EF lynch, so...I'm just going to sit here and wait to cast my vote later, just in the small chance something odd happens.

If you're talking about Day 2, it's not a big deal. I was more curious why you painted Lathum as the only one who put heat on you, and now you're talking about EagleFan.

IIRC, it was just Lathum that put heat on me that day for my 1st MrsS vote. But I'm talking about EF's actions yesterday that have me thinking he's a wolf.

Is there something I haven't made clear about that?

Not trying to say too much here, but I think he'll probably get re-elected.

And that should not be taken one way or another to indicate my level of trust for him (because frankly I just haven't decided about my trust level for him yet).

Nope, just me getting confused -- for some reason, I had it in my head that you were saying he put heat on you on Day 2, not just Day 3.

I don't know about anyone else, but my feeling about Lathum has improved in the last day. He seemed very willing to switch to Mrs. S. if necessary and really despite the general suspicion from others he's not pinging me very much this game.

Just my two cents.

Let it be known that I have some slight reservations about this bill...not enough to say you can't proceed with a vote, but enough to say that I'm not very sure it will make it past the Supreme Court.

And as far as the bill was concerned, I racked my brain trying to come up with something relatively minor (but still useful) that would pass the supreme court, so hopefully it passes.

I think it could work as a centrist bill, but you'd probably have to make them brothers, which means they die together, and I really don't think we want that.

I've kept searching for a better option than EagleFan and can't find one although I have another good suspect but don't have enought evidence to get enough votes since I think there are enough votes to hang EagleFan already. With the vote switching penalty, it doesn't make sense.

Henry, the blind run on EF has me wondering a bit. Who is your alternative candidate?

Also, has EF been around to provide any defense?

I have to be honest, his play, only from what I've seen here obviously, doesn't really scream out anything different to me. Yeah, he voted for me, he does that every game regardless of the situation. I'm not sure I'm willing to go there yet but I'll read back through.
