Carson Palmer strikes again. If the Niners can find some rhythm on offense, this game is going to be a blow out.

Or they can continue to kick FG's and not get first downs.

At least Cards defense has held strong-both INT gave SF red zone chances, and they come away with FG's in both.

Cards defense comes up big yet again with a INT in the endzone.

wow crazy ending to the half in SEA. Backup holder and the punter in for injured kicker for a short FG. Hold was messed up, punter tried to throw it, led to Tenn running it all the way back for a TD.

I almost posted about the Lions making the switch to Stat Padford during the half. Nice to see they did.

Holy crap Peyton picked off and run back for a TD. Jags go for two and don't get it-down by 2 at the half.

The Denver Broncos all secretly bet on the Jaguars. Let's see if anyone notices.

Carolina played so well today. If only they had just a little bit of offense against either Seattle or Buffalo there would be so much optimism right now.

Yeah. And the worst of it was that wasn't flagged and they flagged the Pats for a penalty on the play, so it was totally for no reason.

I think we've clearly seen that some FOFC facts have merit.

1. It's clear that anyone who states that a stadium can reach 120-130 decibels is totally wrong when the highest ever recorded level is 107 decibels.

2. Any team who can't put away teams like Jacksonville or Tennessee until later in the game doesn't belong in the Super Bowl discussion.

I disagree.

Denver has had an "off" game yet is still winning by sixteen points. I wish the Dolphins had those types of "off" games.

I don't think it was. I've watched it several times and nowhere do I see their helmets actually hit each other. It seems like their shoulders hit and then they were pushed away from each other.

In either case, it's certainly not clear cut...

Not sure how you're missing it. Their helmets clearly collide. I'm not saying it was intentional but that is what knocks a guy out cold, not a hit to the shoulder.

No, they wouldn't have. But, it wasn't ever happening either. I find it amusing that the Broncos have played like utter dog doo doo today. Very simplified offensive game plan. Vanilla defense with a ton of zone against a team who can't throw against man to man. Stupid turnovers that took points off the board and gave the Jags points.

And it's a ho hum W against NFL competition. Next week could be the first loss if Miller isn't right. . . if he is, I think this defense will be a lot better.

Well the no call on the patriots hit on a defenseless receiver didn't matter. The hit was the same as the one the saints got flagged on earlier. Now we see if the Saints defense can hold.

You're so wrong. The Pats guys didn't hit anywhere near his head. The Saints guy hit Thomkins helmet.

I didn't say hit to head I said hit to defenseless player. None of the plays should have been flagged IMO.

Hmm - rooting against Pats but hate seeing Rob Ryan celebrating on sidelines. So strangely conflicted by this outcome.

56-42 Saints win would have been much more satisfying.

What's the consensus on Brady? Is he still the same guy just with no weapons, or has he lost something due to age or injury?

I don't like the Pats, so I don't mind since it forces them to score a TD now, but I don't understand why you go for it on 4th down and basically gift 3 pts to the Saints.

And frankly, I don't know why teams don't PA on first down in obviously running the clock situations. Pats were ready for 3rd down pass.
