Since I made my pick last night at 8:43 PM Eastern, that was 1 hour 17 minutes until the night clock ended... then the morning clock started back up at 8 AM and has run another 3 hours by now. Since you have 2 picks straight, you actually are in the unique position of getting 4 hours per 2 picks... which you are slightly over, but I figured I would give you every chance to make your picks yourself because getting 2 auto-picks in a row would suck.

BTW, keep in mind, 8 a.m. sounds perfectly acceptable on the east coast, but that's 5 a.m. on the west coast. That is terribly early out here, even for me with a regular day job. I mean, I don't even get up until more than an hour after the deadline starts up again, and I got lucky I am a swing voter and had four hours.

Not saying we should adjust those times, but if I knew a picker was on the West Coast, I would give them extra leeway in the mornings. That's for sure me and Danny. Not sure who else it applies to.

It would also help for those whose picks are coming up but they know they won't be around to PM me (or someone who will be around) a list to draft for them.

Considering how much time we have until the NFL season actually starts, I'm not too worried just yet about the pace or the amount of time between picks, but at some point we're going to have to enforce the time limits.

Changing the clock to 9 AM to 11 PM would work fine for me if everyone's amenable. I'm in bed most nights by 9 PM, so that's going to be tough for me, but for 2 weeks (or hopefully less), I can deal with it.
