Heh...the Eagles are down by 2 TDs with 2 minutes to go and run a play-action pass......play action?

Ended up in an INT.

Amazed the Giants won this game, given the injuries could not be happier with the 2-1 start. 3/4 division games left come at home also so right now things look as good as I could have hoped.

Panthers hang on to win, weird finish, there was a review of a catch with 16 seconds left. Ruled a catch, so the clock started running again once the refs were set, the Jaguars didn't seem to recognize that it was running and didn't snap it until there were 4 seconds left.

Congrats to the Bills. We had our foot on their throat, and they got out and came back and made plays.

Smart playing by the Bills taking the knees, kicking the field goal to win and keeping NE's offense off the field. I don't know why more teams don't do that.

Another gut-wrenching loss for the Texans. Giving up 30 points in the second half just isn't going to get it done. 33 points on the offensive side of the ball is fine, but it isn't unreasonable to say that 40-50 was within reach. Their red zone troubles are reminiscent of problems from years past.

I see the Texans ending the year at 8-8 or 9-7.

I'm not convinced that Bill Musgrave is a real person, I think it may be an assumed identity of Brad Childress.

Wow. Amazing catch by Calvin and then Hanson sneaks it in.

Rough day for the Lions O-Line. All three tackles, Backus, Cherlius and Hilliard were all abused by the Vikings defensive ends.

The running game was non-existent.

Still, after losing the last 14 in a row in that god forsaken place, I will gladly take it and settle in for a nice afternoon of Red Zone action.

Without reading what's been going on - I can only assume that Brady's nifty new ESPN QB rating won't go down after those first 2 interceptions, since the first was deflected off the receiver's hands and on the 2nd one it was a poor route by 85.

I can't imagine an upset stomach that would be bad enough to where I would be on the sidelines, but not playing, or not in the locker room.

The OL still is kind of average and I don't think a Lions OL has been able to run block in decades.

I hadn't heard that, at work so wasn't able to watch the whole game. I had thought it was a continuation of last weeks gameplan that had him on the field for 30 of 68 plays.

Yeah, but taking Christian Ponder doesn't mean they should stop looking for a QB of the future when they're as bad as they are this year.

No reason to give Ponder a chance if they can draft Luck or Jones. Making a mistake yesterday isn't a justification for making another one today.

give ponder a chance this year, let him suck and we can maybe get Luck next year.
seriously though the Vikes have too much talent to get the 1st pick next year, but we can always dream

But they also don't have enough talent to do better than 6-10 this year, especially if Bill Musgrave is going to be running the offense. I'd rather see them be absolutely terrible this year and be set at QB for the future than just kind of bad and still have no answer there.

I think the biggest issue for the Vikings is their coaching staff. They will need to sub in Ponder if the team continues to tank just because you know what you are getting from McNabb. @KC, Arizona, and @Carolina is three of their next 5, so it will be interesting to see where this team goes from here.

Big difference in a QB taken in the last half of the second round and top 15 of the first round as well.

I really wanted to try to like the Seahawks this season as my #2 team behind the Lions, but they make it difficult. I've lived here for 7 years, and I figured that it's about time to give them a chance, but I just don't think it's going to happen.

I can't believe I kind of wanted Aaron Curry instead of Stafford. Eek.
