Personally, I don't get all the hate for the original wedding dance video. It's just dancing. In some cases, it's bad dancing. But big deal. I've been on the internet long enough to see people fall from high distances and break their bones. I've seen animals brutally attacking people and other animals. I've seen a man drive a scooter into a woman's vagina. I've seen Sebastian Janikowski's 76-yard field goal attempt. There's a lot worse out there.

Now, if a ton of people starting doing this at their own weddings and posting it online, that would be annoying. If I went to a wedding where a couple did it, it would be annoying. I found the original to be pretty cool, though.

Of course, your mileage may vary. After all, I eat battery acid.

I saw it in an interview with her. She was in an improv group for a long time and apparently has a lot of videos like that on the web.

I know you're not referring to me, but I'll reply since what I feel is similar to hate for the video. Maybe I was out to lunch all summer, but I had no idea what video they were referring to, and it was annoying that the writers of the episode assumed I'd seen it, then baffled when I heard so many people say "of course I saw that YouTube video." I just figure there are hundreds of videos on YouTube similar to this, and was surprised to find that this one was such a huge phenomenon (and, yeah, a little confused that it was this big and I didn't even know about it).

I thought the video was great the first time I saw it. Nothing wrong with originality.

It was the postings of the video on Facebook by 18 different people that made me hate them.

You remember what opened up this season right?

And it's not about whether or not the audience knew what the video was. It's that we've seen repeatedly that the people of this office are basically obsessed with all the viral stuff. How many references to Youtube have we seen on the show? Chain emails about dancing monkeys and the like? The point was that the DM people, and tools like Jim's brothers, are exactly the type who not only would know all about that video, but would be stupid enough to think that copying such a thing without showing any originality would be awesome.

I never heard of it before the episode of The Office. I can see where it is original, but after a few times of seeing it I would go crazy.

That was the first I've seen of this video (the one posted here in the thread). During The Office, I had no clue what they were referring to, but was able to put the pieces together, and found it hilarious how all about this they were, due to the constant youtube reference on the show. I still crack up to Michael, Dwight, and Andy filming their "stunts". I forgot what that was in reference to, either youtube or it may have been a series of commercials.

No, I don't.

I get that about the characters on the show, but they had done enough to show that IMO. And I don't think that's what the scene was 'about' -- it was about finding an excuse to have the cast dance. And that's cool for some people, but it's not my thing, and it's not why I started watching the show.

Different opinions I guess. I thought the way they paired that with the scenes of them actually being married was perfect and very well done.

DVR decided to take on a mind of its own, so for whatever reason, it didn't record tonight. Anyone know if they do a rerun?... I'm not aware of any, but hopefully I'm wrong.

I thought it was okay -- although I kept thinking something really funny would happen at the end, but it never did. Pretty weird to take a break from studying insurance all day to sit and watch a guy sell insurance.

Kevin very casually telling us "I borrowed Jim's office to fart in" killed me.

Some of the Dwight/Andy lines had me laughing, but overall episode was weak.

I actually thought it was hilarious. Kevin telling Oscar how he would love prison... "Wait, you don't know what happens in prison?....you would love prison", that alone made it well worth watching.

Pretty much. I thought Andy trying to fix that lady's car was pretty good, too. Something about a leaking spark tube, might wanna check the warranty on that, and I can't help you with that. I also love how Andy still has a hard time controlling his anger, when he got a little jumpy with the 7 yr old kid.

That's why they call it murder and not muckduck.

The episode was poor compared to the others, but still good for some laughs.

I loved the Andy mechanic part.

After we watched it, my daughter says to me, "Get me some chocolate milk please, if you bring plain milk, I'm sending it back".

Oscar saying that Toby checked out in June and Toby's reaction was also great.

"The coalition for reason is very weak." = Gold

Other than that and the Kevin scenes, a weak episode. Still, I'll take one clunker for every three excellent episodes.

Is it just me, or does it look like her head just doesn't belong on that body? Her face and hair are all "Girl next door" but her body is smoking hot model.

That's about right. The Mob story was kinda dumb. I did love Kevin, especially inadvertently canceling Jim's credit card.

I don't understand the need for the baby? Unless there is a spinoff coming, this does not make much since. Seems like this is going to require a lot of "out of Office" time.

Also, on the wedding episode, I wish Dwight and Pam's best friend would have developed into a relationship. This would mean Jim's best friend would then become dwight as they would then start hanging out together. You know the age old saying, "...why do you hang out with that guy? Well, he is married to my wife's best friend/sister..."

Last night's episode was terrific.

Loved all of Jim's reactions in the break room, especially telling Toby to shove it (it will be funny if he now starts to hate Toby as much as Michael does) and his reaction when Michael describes the car.

My favorite part was when Pam was chanting no more meetings, Stanley was in the background chanting along. He was the only one doing that.

That's a bit harsh.

The mob episode last week...fell flat with me. Although there was a whole bunch of goodness in there apart from that story line...mostly all mentioned above.

Last night's episode with Michael telling Pam and Jim about dating her mother....That was really good stuff. Laugh out loud funny stuff.
