I got the good game from Evans I neeed, 16 points. Now I just need a 10 fantasy point performance out of the Ravens D tomorrow night.

Nice hit by Mike Brown -- bonus points for not getting injured for the season on the play.

TD Bears! But I'm not done making fun of DeSean. He must have thought the goal line was two inches in front of him.

That was a horrible spot on the screen pass to Forte just before the 2 minute warning.

I'm catching up on DVR now, but if DeSean runs the post McNabb thought he should have, it was still a bad pass.

Looks like the hole was there on that 2nd and goal if McNabb hadn't fallen.

I think theyre giving Orton too much credit for checking off there. I wouldn't be surprised if Forte was his first option on that play.

This is going to end up being a game they should have won but let those chances slip away. At least that's what it's looking like so far.

I don't get why you don't kick the FG with 3 TO? I mean, it's not like Philly has any kind of an identity as a pounding rushing squad.

I actually liked going for it. This way you don't get Hester involved with a kick return and you would figure that you could stop the Bears and getgood field position. Giving up that first down kind of kills part of that theory.

That play was open for the QB sneak too. I was hoping for the sneak before the play too. You can see from up top that there was a hole for him between the center and left guard if they sneak it.

Is Madden drinking? Tonight's game is an example of why you love football? I thought it was one of the most frustrating games to watch and not just because the Eagle's lost. Maybe I missed something.

I lost one of my fantasy matchups by 3 and I have McNabb at QB. Needless to say, I was questioning their goal-line playcalling.

I also realize McNabb makes it a point of pride that he's a "Pocket Passer" now, but tonight and especially the Cowboys games there were some huge holes most QB's would have gone for.

Those of you who had Lane Kiffin be the first NFL head coach getting fired....lose.

ESPN - Rams fire Linehan, sources say; Haslett expected to take over - NFL

Quote:
St. Louis Rams coach Scott Linehan has been fired, two team sources said Monday morning.

Defensive coordinator Jim Haslett, a former head coach of the New Orleans Saints, was expected to be named interim coach, but details had not been finalized.

An official statement from the team around was expected for 8:30 a.m. ET.

Chris Mortensen is a Senior NFL Analyst for ESPN.

So, as I see them cart this guy off in the stretcher I get to thinking....

How long before the NFL just eliminates the kickoff? They are such violent situations and lately a large majority of neck injuries seem to happen on the kickoff.

I have never unstood the short kick. You give your opponent the ball usually between the 30 to the 45. What exactly are you trying to do by kicking it to a player standing on the 35?

Why did the Steelers just use the short kick? I do not know of any big time return men on the Ravens.

Figurs is pretty good for the Ravens and the Steelers notoriously have bad coverage. In fact, since the ball bounced the Ravens only got it on the 25.

Ugh. If I'd have started Holmes, I would've won this week.

Now I'm going to lose. Against a guy that had no QB and no D to boot.
