Never married, but the only woman I ever lived with comes home one day all upset and crying. I ask her what's wrong and she says she was in an accident. Of course I ask what happened... Her attitude changes. She says "This bitch was drifting into my lane, so I bumped her back into her fucking lane."

She didn't like my laughter (wasn't my car!) or the fact that I didn't believe that purposely smashing your car into another in an act of rage is an "accident."

This has really shown up now that she's trying to play first person shooters on xbox live. She plays with a team, and I've seen replays where the whole squad is running in a pack and the leader gives a command. It's fun to watch the entire group veer off in one direction, while one tiny figure goes the other way -- running out into an open field where she's immediately greeted by a hail of bullets, grenades, and a dozen surface to air missles.

Opposite here. My wife's reaction would be (heck, is) "Oh thank god I don't have to sort that out anymore". Of course, in our relationship she's pretty much the "ideas" person and I'm the "figure out how to make that actually work" person. To her credit, though, she doesn't go out and buy stuff and expect me to make it work. She just comes up with ideas.

Oh hell no. That statement will go in the 'Remember when you doubted me' file and will be pulled out whenever there is a question about what she is doing.

Although, it's probably already filed there. Bringing it up will just bring a reminder that it was filed for later us against you.
