To an extent, yes. It's always tough to command respect when pretty much everyone on the team earns more than you.

Will be interested to see what the Knicks do in the draft. Obviously Rose is the no-brainer if they luck out in the lottery, but if they pick at 5 there are a lot of ways they can go. Do you get a scoring guard like Bayless/Mayo/Gordon, all who would probably thrive in D'Antoni's style of play but don't really address team needs, or a bruiser like Brook Lopez (imagine that, a NY bigman who can rebound AND play D! It's been a while...), or a dreaded "potential" guy like Anthony Randolph or Danilo Gallinari?
