Whenever we have one of those "mixed miniatures" chocolate bags - with your standard Hersheys, Krunch, Special Dark, and the one I'm forgetting that has the nuts in it - I just demolish the Special Dark. I don't know that it is my favorite candy bar, but it is the one that I'll binge on more than any others.

ehhhh I don't like those bags. All the chocolate tastes waxy and like the foil. :P Although I think you're right, the special dark is probably the best of the 4. Krackal is okay mr goodbar 3rd and the regular are just gross.
(Yeah Mr Goodbar is the guy I mean bar with nuts.)

I just stick to big chocolate, not little chocolate.

"Spotted Dick"?
Must be one of those exotic Asian dishes.

Another candy that I have a hard time putting aside are Andy's Mints. I'm not sure how many are in a box (maybe 40?) but I could easily wipe that out in a single sitting when I was younger. I kind of still want to these days but now have the discipline to push them aside for a few minutes before going back for the 2nd batch.

and FWIW, I've always been able to get Cadbury's Fruit and Nut in New Jersey at most big stores. It like the various Lindt bars are more rare purchases tho.

Are you talking about Andes? You must go through them fast if you didn't notice how it's spelled on the package!

I'm not sure that counts as "discipline" if it now takes you 20 minutes to finish a box instead of ten ;-)

Discipline is having them in the house only once a year or so.

That's basically how I control my consumption as well. Luckily I work at home. If I left the house more often I'd weigh 300 pounds.

Butterfinger Peanut Butter Cups

I spent a few mins while driving trying to figure out if these had paper on them like the Reese's do.

More like a creamy peanut butter with butterfinger bits in them. The chocolate isn't as good as a Reese's, nor is the peanut butter.

Not bad though.. I'd give them a 5/10.

Does that rating mean that in 5 minutes you can eat 10 of them?

The peanut butter in Reese's is one of the most underrated foods in the world. That's right, the world. Do they still sell it in jars? Can't remember the last time I've seen it.

This. I used to have a SERIOUS weak spot for Reese's. Haven't had one in years unfortunately. Kinda scared if I did the floodgates would just open.

Reese's Crispy crunch candy bars are obscenely good. Like a Butterfinger, but better everything and it doesn't get stuck in your teeth for hours after.

I remember it just being normal peanut butter. A bit inside baseball, but I believe you have to have a certain % of peanuts to call it peanut butter vs calling it peanut butter spread.

I would give them like a 3 or a 4 out of 10. Good idea, poor execution. That filling is really bonkers. Not creamy enough to be like a normal peanut butter bar, not crispy crunchity enough for a butterfinger.

NO, not at all. From what I understand to make normal peanut butter like Reece's you add powdered sugar I think?
