Had the same problem here first time round, but it worked the second time...

Have signed up as the Mongolians, and am now two turns in (think I was last to go on the first turn, so we just headed straight into turn two once I'd finished).

I just got in. The clock read 23:56 when I did. Maybe you were logging in right when the turn was running?

Maybe it's because I stayed connected even after I made my turn? Anyway, I'm out now.

In another game I am in, it seems that I can't connect to the game when someone else is connected on the first try. After that, I can.

This is only a problem if someone else is in the game. If you encounter this again, just wait a few mnutes for the person to get out of the game.

I have reactivated civstats with the current game. I am using the same registration over there as the previous game.

something's not right with how it's set up though. I'm now showing up as being with the Mongolians and Genghis Khan and two are with unknown nations...

grrr, seems passacaglia is still in the game and I can't log in... this may turn out to be a problem if he stays in say for another hour or so and I can't take my turn in the one tiny window of opportunity that I have in between other family activities...

dola, and civstats is still not quite right. Although the game shows me as the Malinese, it's not showing up as one of my games in the "My Games" since I didn't register it myself so everytime I want to check it out, I have to pull the full list of games. Just a bit annoying...

thant's the weird thing, I can't register for our game. The choices I'm given when I go to the register your leader page are Celeval, sbbc231, Mr. Wednesday, Passacaglia, WVUFan, and MartinD...

Yet, the game still registered that I played my turn...

PitBoss crashed on me tonight. The game has reverted to the begining of the current turn. Some of you might need to take a turn over.

I have. All you need is a stable, hardwired connection. I'm running on on CivFanatics that's nearly AD, and it's been disconnected one time.

I don't know why it is not working. My ip is the still the same. The ip my router assigned me is still the same, so all ports are open. I've rebooted.

One thing I have noticed is that when the game asks me for the admin password at startup, I can put in whatever I want and the game will still start. I don't know what that means.

I don't have time to fight this thing this morning. I have to head to work, so I will tackle it later tonight. Sorry for the delay guys, but I don't know why there is a problem.

I am completely baffled.

The game was up fine last night. I was surfing doing my usual for the evening and it just crashed. Now it won't allow any connections. I have reinstalled PitBoss and Civ with no luck. My ip address hasn't changed and I have all of the ports open in the router. I have no other firewalls in the way.

I don't get it.

I can't get connected to any game hosted on my computer. I have tried new ones just to see if there is something wrong with our current one and can't connect to those either.

Is the PTBS screens popping up, or are you getting an error message? If they're popping up, on the Dos=based page, what's the last line read?

If I get it to work, we're going to have to start over anyway.

All of the saves I had were in the Autosave directory. When I started a new game to see if that was the problem, all of them were over deleted, so I don't have a save to load for our game.

That last 24 hours have been a downer.
