In no particular order:

Diablo II- playing multiplayer ip to ip, like 6 people all using battle.com or gamevoice-- tons of fun

FOF 2- the game that got me into text sims in general

NCAA Football '99- played forever in college, easy, yet still quite fun

High Heat Baseball 1- yes, the sequels were more advanced, but for a game that I heard nothing about prior to seeing it for like $20, it totally blew me away

Worms 2- holy hand grenade & concrete donkey. enough said

Sterlingice: I seriously considered putting Wolfenstein 3D up on my top 5 list but purposely left off FPS games for some reason. Even though it has been more than 10 years, I still get shivers when thinking about running down that maze with the creepy purple wall and turning the corner into a room full of gestapos. That, and having one of those big bad bosses chasing you to where you were very, very afraid to turn around.

Damn fine game and so great. It's one of those games that does show its age, tho. In twenty years, some snot nosed punk is going to tell me how crappy it is and I'm going to have to punch SI Jr (just kidding, obviously). But on the serious side of things, it's just like what happened with RPG sentiment. It went from games like DW1-4, FF2, FF3, and CT that "old schoolers" love to flashy, story-deprived neo-playstation RPGs and if you show one of those psx fans, for instance, the masterpiece that is Chrono Trigger, they'll turn their nose up at it and not understand what was so mind-blowingly cool about it.
