Stallworth has 4 catches for 124 yards and a TD... at the half.

Reggie Brown also has a receiving TD.

Halftime in Cleveland. Saints 9, Browns 0. The Browns got into field goal range, but Charlie Frye and some clown at RB named Harrison couldn't figure out how to coordinate a handoff properly, and they fumbled it away to the Saints. Brees takes a knee and the fans boo the Browns off the field. I have a feeling that this'll be a running theme in Cleveland this year.

If there are any Browns fans in the world, I feel awfully sorry for them.

I drafted Stallworth when he was still on the Saints for depth .. Now he's a starter and today I'm loving life.

That opening penalty killed the Browns. A nice TD pass called back for holding.

Watching some highlights here, I only have one question: How friggin' fat is Eric Moulds?

Denver scores a TD. This was on the drive they went for it on their own 30. 12-7 Rams in a game that should be 24-7 Rams.

The TD pass by Vick was terrific play design. On the play before they ran a designed sweep to the same side. They run what looks like the same play and release Jenkins at the last second. He sidesteps a Panther and runs into the end zone.

Brady is what, 3-11? 1 completed pass to a WR? It's worse than I thought if they can't figure out how to pass against the Bills. . . but it isn't surprising. The Patriots are going to go through that a lot this year. Gabriel assimiliating the offense is going to be critical. If he doesn't step in and develop into a threat, I'm not sure what the Patriots are goinig to do.

Fat enough to take the ball away from Michael Lewis and walk into the end zone.

I think it was that game or '92. Regardless, the Jets kicker was awful in that one.

The one thing I do really like, tho, is listening to Mitch Holtis on the Chiefs broadcasts. Excellent hometown announcer.

The ball was probably drawn to Moulds through a gravitational pull. Lewis had no chance of tackling him anyway. I don't think you could drop Moulds with a shotgun these days.

Chiefs force a Palmer fumble to end a threatening drive, but then commit two consecutive penalties before Green throws an INT to give the Bengals the ball in the KC half. I have to say, the Chiefs just do not look good at all.

my other receivers that don't have tivo and thus don't have any requirements to be hooked to a phone line are showing the sunday ticket games perfectly fine :P

A reboot has the NFL channels showing up on the main box, but the schedules "to be announced"

Also intersting to note is that on my other boxes the FOX listing is "Falcons at Panthers" while on the tivo box the listing is "NFL Football"

ah well, I may just have to deal with this, there's no way I'm getting a regular phone line when i'm going to move in 4 months, maybe i'll look at Vonage but not just for this.

The Pats only dressed 3 WR (no Gabriel or Chad Jackson), so lack of WR catches isn't surprising, but if they can't involve Watson/Graham and Faulk in the passing game, the'll obviously be in trouble.

It's now raining lightly in Kansas City and both teams are acting like they have never played with a wet football before -- Carson Palmer's fumbled twice and the Green threw a pick that went through the the hands of Samie Parker.

It's kind of comical to watch them though. Kelly had a 15 yard minimum gain that just slipped right through his hands.

New tip for NFL defensive backs ... apparently if you get completely faked out of your jock on a simple curl route, there is a good chance the ref will think it's offensive pass interference.

The replay is brutal. Geathers went right for his head after he slid and snapped his head back. That should be a 15-yard penalty and a fine or suspension, and the refs did nothing.

Westbrook and the Eagles just dominated on the Eagles' first drive of the 2nd half. Ended with a 31 yard Screen pass TD to Westbrook.

21-10.

Damon Huard hasn't completed a pass since 2000. He's probably pissing his pants at this point.

Yeah, it's insane that there's no flag when he was sliding feet first and got hit on the head.

Whereas the call we are complaining about, Abraham has his hands up (which forces an interception btw) and as he hits the Delhomme the side of his straight arm brushes his helmet. Not a blow, but just contact. They call a personal foul and overturn the interception. Complete and utter crap.

Green is scrambling out right and is going down to slide feet first and some guy on the Bengals (Gathers, I think) goes helmet-to-helmet on him as he's going down and he's been out cold.

I think it just says they really botched the call in the Chiefs/Bengals. I'd rather they err on the side of caution, just like the UT/OSU game last night but I know I'm in the minority on that.

That kind of looked like the hit Zach Thomas put on Batch when he was sliding... I just saw a replay now, but it wasn't a helmet-on-helmet was it? Looked like Geathers' shoulder hit Green's shoulder, and Green got horrible whiplash?
