Nobody mentioned the Bud Light bear commercial. I found that amusing.

My favorite, though was Sprint.

"Well, my cell phone has a theft deterrent system. Try to take my wallet. . . "

SI

I thought they were trying to stretch their original concept just a bit too far.

But I'm with H_B, I was surprised to see the pictures of the players/coaches cozying up to the trophy (replica or not). Just seemed bad form.

As for commercials... Top 5

1. Ameriquest "That killed him."
2. MacGyver Master Card
3. Sprint "Crime Deterrent."
4. The Beer commercial where the chick gets clocked after catching a pass during the touch football game.
5. The "Streaker" during the Horse football game.

Props to the Ameriquest commericals as well, great job following up on the theme from last year, though that guy getting his Ass kicked in the convience store is still the best of the lot IMO.

The Pepsi commercials were horrible and GoDaddy had to be the most adieu abouth nothing.

And in a "sensitive side" moment, I actually found the Budweiser commercial with the Pony pulling the wagon very touching......Don't know what hidden meaning that has...........................Must be a parent thing, yeah thats it

My top 3:

Magic Fridge
Chick getting clocked
the steaker

None were very good, pretty weak crop IMO. Not as bad as the halftime show though...

The commericals by and large were very weak. The Diet Pepsi ones were, quite possibly, the worst ever for a Super Bowl. Jay Mohr and Jackie Chan should donate the money they were paid for them to either starving children's charities, or lobotomies for the Pepsi Ad Agency.

I agree that as a group, it was a weak offering this year.

I dunno- when was the last year people actually said "the year was strong". Again, not using this year as an example- I thought it was around average after significantly sub par offerings last year and the year before. After every year, more than half the people who watch it say "it's the worst year" or "it's a bad year"- it's just everyone remembering only the good ones from year's past versus all the commercials from the current year.

Every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.

I left something brown and bubbly in the toilet earlier, and only part of it was Diet Pepsi.

My top 3 are

1. Michelob "A little darker". "You were open and now you are closed!" Closest thing to bringing back Terry Tate, Office Linebacker.

2. FedEx

3. McGuyver Mastercard commercial

I also liked "magic fridge", the Ameriquest commercials, and Sprint's Crime Deterrent.
