Great... this is why I hate such long gaps between new episodes. I saw this thread last night, yet I still forgot to watch today. Half-an-hour in... I can't watch now. :P

This should have been the cliffhanger episode.

Looks like Ensign Ro will be appearing next episode. Here's to hoping she doesn't crack her skull (24) or die (Battlestar Galactica).

[edit]Hmm, according to IMDB she was in an earlier episode.

Disagree. My guess is the governor has a change of heart and stops the execution next week. Plus on the preview for next week, that looks like an exhumation, not a burial.

Exactly. Looks like they're gonna dig up an empty coffin.

It was nice to see the show back. I agree that the governor will probably have a change of heart. Its kind of a shallow cliffhanger though, we know there is no way they are going to execute Lincoln.

I heard they are going to do flashbacks of all the characters like Lost does it.

So we get to know all the characters background stories.

Its going to make us change our opinions on some characters.

Also not everyone will escape.

I guess thats a way to extend the show another season

They could extend the show by breaking the bother out and then doing season 2 with him on the run

I couldn't get past the first 5 episode bcause by then I realized they were just going to keep jerking the plot around.

It seemed as if the plot were progressing rather nicely, but I can see where they do need to break out in order for the show to continue.

I don't have a problem with it either. IMO the storylines in the prison are still interesting. I think it will be a lot harder to write storylines once they break out of prison. We have all seen the fugitive right? What new angles can they have for man on the run?

All the people chasing after them would have TWO arms this time. That would be something.

The steam?

Normally, I don't like flashback episodes but I am curious to see how some of the inmates got in.

Yeah, it looks to be a pretty good episode. The good thing about it is that they aren't going to drag it out with flashbacks throughout a whole season.

I liked the flashback episode. Sara as a drug addict, Bellick hitting on Sara (I got a coupon to the Red Lobster), the Vice President's brother with dentures. Shame all we got of Abruzzi were newspaper clippings, must have been that VW money.

I want to know what really happened to the VP's brother. What caused him to fake his death?

Yeah, I thought it was quite good as well. Definitely added more depth to the characters.

I liked the fact that the story bound the brothers a lot more and was very believable by showing why Michael wanted to get Lincoln out of jail. I liked Sara's backstory as well, showing that she isn't as nice as we thought she was. The Army story was a little over the top. I thought it was a poor attempt at getting us to like the black guy. I thought they were going to do the same thing with T-Bag, but they really redeemed themselves in the end when he said that the old rapist was back.

Haywire!

The cops were awfully quick to respond to that gunshot.

The Secret Service guy's neighbor saw L.J. sneaking into the house. I assume that she called the cops.

"You're on welfare? You vote democrat." I loved that line.

Looks like Sucre's cousin is now in and Haywire could be in if he gets back in GenPop. Although he probably doesn't have any leverage since every guard thinks he is nuts.

From the preview, "V-dub in full effect!" returns. Teabag is screwed.

I hope Lincoln doesn't run into any mountain lions out there.

Kind of disapponted with the whole Lincoln thing. Thought it was way too predictable, but other than that I liked the episode.

And yea, Teabag is gonna get f'd up.

Yeah, but I haven't heard his name/nickname, so Sucre's cousin is better than saying laundry guy.

I guessing Michael won't be getting any doctor love anytime soon. :o No more Holly Valence?

With the way the episode ended, I'm guessing Michael filled in the bottom of the hole. He is smart enough to know that Tweener would tell Bellick.

It is good to know that in their May preview, they actually breakout.

Even though I know they're dragging it out, I like the way they're doing it. At least it seems as if we're making progress, unlike Lost.

I'm also glad to see that they actually break out of prison as well.

Yeah, I was peeved when they took that 3-month hiatus, but this show is really great. I wasn't sure what to think when I first heard about it but I gave it a chance and I am very glad I did.

Wonder if they could have more than one season though...

They going to do at least 3 seasons.

I read in an old TV guide, the second season will be based outside of prison.

and 3rd season its about breaking back into prison.

i guess im the only one who got sick of the ridiculous obstacles set up each episode, and the horrendous acting by all parties

i usually stick out anything once i get involved in the plot, but not this time

So they spent the entire season laying out this elaborate plan and it comes down to the Doctor leaving her door unlocked and Michael with the warden at shank point? LOL

Heh, all those tattoos and all he had to do was hold the warden as a hostage. It was good to see the President give 'Hillary' the shaft. BIG surprise that Bellick lives with his mother.

As for who won't make it, DB Cooper is injured and Tweener wasn't shown masking his scent. Then again Michael, Sucre, and Lincoln weren't shown doing it either...

Poor DB Cooper.

You just knew Sucre's cuz was going to break the wire.

I'm thinking one of the plotlines for next season would be a race to find DB's money.

Beat me to it. I thought the exact same thing once D.B. said how much he had stashed and exactly where it was located.
