I don't follow Hockey. Why is every single team in this lottery? And are the odds even for each team?

Lessee, that leaves Vancouver, MTL, Ottawa, Carolina, Atlanta, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Columbus, Minnesota, and Anaheim (I think).

So the odds are the same then? But what about the team that got last place 2 years ago in the last season? Do they get screwed or was there a draft last year anyway, even though there wasn't a season?

So the Great White Hope of the NHL is going to a city where hockey is headed down the tubes anyway.

Symbolically fitting, I guess.

I wouldn't say that, when they were good in the late 80's early 90's they sold the building out, not any different then Anaheim.

I'm not talking about the fans.

I'm talking about Lemieux buying the team out of bankruptcy court to protect his deferred payments and then looking for a buyer because even he hasn't been able to make the team solvent again.

If you continue to like the Red Wings you'll become very important. You will have many leather-bound books and your apartment will smell of rich mahogany.
