I'm gonna start a thread for my wife's quotes I think, she is on a roll here.....
"And this is why no one likes the kicker...." And why is this their third overtime game? Because of Doug!"

I wonder if they'll settle for a FG now?

That was as horrid a stretch of late game playcalling as you will see, ever, in the NFL. |

The last two Jets playoff games have vindicated the FOF end-game/overtime AI of continually trying to score a TD rather than settling for a long FG.

Since the evidence has to be conclusive, I don't see it being overturned from any of the angles we are seeing.

Me either. But that's what they get for them being at home, I guess. Doesn't matter. Pennington and the offense is doing their thing. I'm not hopeful, but I'm glad they're at least in the game...and we're still talking Jets football, even for a few more minutes this late in the season.

Couldnt they afford to put a camera in the yardmarker so you could see it from the exact angle?

I think the ref would have looked pretty stupid ruling that the spot was a foot to generous for the jets....which is probably what it was.

Jeez, fuckin' come on Jets. My hatred for the Steelers is not happy with the end of regulation as you guys couldn't finish.
I really just got out of bed to post this. Is Doug Brien the biggest loser of all-time? |

Randle El really pisses me off, or is it the special teams coach, that hasn't gotten him to stop trying to return every punt for a touch down. that should have been a touch back. damnit

$18,000? Did they hear what Randy said about $10,000?
Anyway....I'd say they'll get in range and go ahead and end this misery. I dunno what I'd rather see, the Jets win barely and get to the AFC title game only to lose or to end it here. Either way, Doug Brien should be released. Not before the end of the game, but now.
