Thinking about grabbing lunch (too lazy to make one this morning) and of course seeing what's new at FOFC while my map is plotting.

It has always been that way, GD, despite the flowery prose. Things like the jumping mouse (local issue), Rio Grande minnows, lynx, spotted owls, etc. have all been used as pawns to achieve their aims, whether it be to stop growth (once they have settled there of course) or to stop new developments, businesses, jobs, etc. I strongly favor planned and managed growth and development but taking it to the extreme is akin to eco-terrorism.

Damn, I hate Monthly Status Reports. Especially now that I have to include metrics. Wife called, I need to be home by 4:40PM. Ok. Need to also call HOA to see if our SunSetter application is any closer to being approved (how to install over bendy, vinyl siding?). New refrigerator not delivered quite yet. Awning, refrigerator. Hmm, spending too much money. Oh, right, refrigerator compliments of Mr. Bush and 18mos interest free from Best Buy.

Should write as haiku.
(almost time for TMQ)

I just got back from getting fall sports schedules from the high schools. Saw Hannah's mother at Tucker. I can't imagine what she's going to continue to go through for a long time.
