ugh, took the over 27.5 in the first half. Missed 2 point conversion then the holding call at the end of the half nullifies a 52 yard gain and a chip shot. Plus 2 missed field goals. Sick.

Yeah, I just thought they had to be better than last week, but I was definitely wrong.

I really like Notre Dame -3 tomorrow.
If you don't mind me asking, where are most of you guys playing at? I've been at Intertops for awhile but sometimes have issues getting cash out (I just feel weird using the Western Union method). I'm in the US, so something that is easy to get money in and out without massive fees. |

I use SportsBook.com. I like it much better than bodog or betusa. I haven't cashed out in awhile (dammit), but when I have in the past the check came very quickly via FedEx.

Lines I am looking at tomorrow
Iowa-Iowa St. -47. Seems like a high number considering Iowa struggled against Northern Iowa. Wake-3. They need a win after a loss to an underrated Baylor team. The game starts at 9:00 AM for stanford. I can see them being sluggish. Nebraska -21 vs Ark St. These are the games Nebraska alway win big early on to make everyone think they are better than they really are. BYU-18 @ tulane. Veteran QB Max Hall won't let them have a letdown. Need to show the country they are the real deal and didn't only win because BRadford was out. Notre Dame -3. They have a lot to prove this year. TCU-11 @ Virgina. UVA lost ton William and Mary, enough said. |

2 TD's in 10 seconds is great for the over.
Took the second half over also. |

3-3 so far with my other 3 looking solid.
Night games I like are Cal -34 against E. Washington Auburn- Miss St -47 ( they scored 5 last year) Mizzou -20 Idaho St +50 at Oklahoma- 50 points is just absurd, you have to figure OKlahoma's timing may be off on some plays. Kansas -13 @ Utep Oregeon- Purdue +47 Oregeon St -7 @ UNLV |

I'm really torn on the USC game. History says to take USC, but freshman QB going into the 'shoe and the Pryor factor make me really nervous.

I went with USC -8 as Ohio State has just been horrible against top schools out of conference. Nice call on the TCU game earlier. I saw that pick you put up last night and went with it myself today. Too bad Weis can't manage the fucking clock. |

What does everyone like tomorrow?
Jets @ Texans -5 Texans are a really tough home team (6-2 last two seasons I believe) and Mario Williams is one of the best pass rushing ends in the league. Think it's a lot to ask Sanchez to go into Houston and pull out a win. Not sold on Houston this year but do think their offense has a lot of underated pieces like Andre Johnson. Houston 20-10 win. Bears @ Packers -3 I won't bet on this since I'm a Bears fan but I really like Green Bay in this one. They had a ton of injuries last season and should be solid with a healthy start. I think there will be teams that give Green Bay's secondary trouble, but don't think it'll be Chicago's. Rodgers looks to be one of the better QBs in the league and will have a rowdy home crowd behind him. Bears defense is heavily overated and will get abused by the passing game. Green Bay wins this one by pulling away late 27-20. Last edited by RainMaker : 09-13-2009 at 12:08 AM. |

Rough weekend for me with the college games. The only thing that saved me from a complete loss was a TCU/Nebraska parlay.

I got killed yesterday, so I'm going with the plan I've been waiting 3 years on. Every underdog on the m/l. That and Cincinnati and maybe the over in the Giants game.

Not a fan of the over in the Giants game. These teams traditionally play low scoring games and with Eli's inexpierienced receivers I would be leary of there being a lot of points. |

I just see so many players hurt on defense for the Giants. I did just get a look from a neighbor since I mowed the lawn in my Sehorn jersey. I just turned down a free trip to the Meadowlands, just not in the mood for the traffic.

Bodog had money lines on these dogs at one. Let's go dogs.
Miami Cleveland Denver Jets Jacksonville Tampa No money lines for Detroit +14, Carolina +3, Kansas City +13 so I just have them with the points. 3 years ago this probably would have worked, I'm sure this year it will be a disaster. |

Early games- Took
Over 45 in the Jets- Texans game Saints -14 Ravens -13 Vikings -5 Over 41.5 in the Bengals- Broncos I also took over 109.5 rushing yards for Adrian Peterson, got crappy odds, -145, but still, Clevelands run defense is awful. |

Kansas City was getting 13 and was in a tie game with 5 minutes left. Baltimore had the ball at their own 26. They managed to not cover. That takes some real talent.

I did much better on the pro bets this week, scored a money line on San Francisco, the spread for Dallas, and the two games I mentioned earlier with Philly and Minnesota. My only loss was Cincy.

I had a real nice day yesterday. If the Pats and Charges can each just win straight up I'll cash in on a couple big parlays. Feeling pretty good about that although I could see the Raiders sneaking up on the Chargers for some reason.

I'm a Bears fan but I can't figure out how the spread for next week is Pit-3 paying +105?

I don't bet on games involving any of my teams. I am just trying to understand the logic behind it. It's begging you to take the Steelers, but Vegas isn't stupid. I'd almost have to take the Bears if I bet.

I would not hate the Patriots nearly as much if they wore these uniforms every week. There can't be anyone in the world who like the Elvis look better.

Took Tech +5 and the over 55.
I'm not sold on Miami yet after the horrific effort Florida St put up last week. Makes Miamis week 1 win look soft in comparason to Tech with a solid win over Clemson. |

I actually took Miami last night, so it was a good start to the weekend. Tomorrow, I'm looking at:
KSU/UCLA - Under 43 1/2 (I know KSU's offense stinks, and UCLA is without their QB, correct?) Tennessee +30 (Florida wins obviously, but surely Tennessee won't let it get that bad) Arizona money line (Probably reaching here, but I think Mike Stoops will pull it out) And then I might go with Arkansas -2 over Georgia. Still looking through the games, though. |
