Reggie Ball is hospitalized, so Georgia Tech is without his services in this game. Up 21 - 13 now.

I was pretty impressed though. going into the game I figured OU would be blown out of the water, but they managed to give UCLA a good run.

Yeah, they played back on defense and gave UCLA whatever they wanted short. They just aren't getting any big plays defensively, it seems. Until that last drive, they absolutely shut down the Bruin running game which was nice.

Kudos to UCLA for shutting down Peterson, who looked a little hobbled to me. But you're right, the mental mistakes were the difference. UCLA made very few, and OU made a lot.

I would've liked to have known who that holding call was on when OU intercepted that pass. I didn't see anything, the ref gave no number, and not even the announcers could see anything. Phantom call at a huge time, completely changed the game.

That's not to say OU would have won, of course, not by any stretch of the imagination. But it certainly would have been more interesting.

For all the potential it has, I really hope UT-UF turns out to be one of the most boring games of the year. Screw the drama, I'd be quite content with a 45 point blowout ... assuming it was in the proper direction of course

Shameless sponsor whoring by CBS on that intro. And very questionable judgement IMO.

I love how they figure that the Georgia Southern - Wofford game is going to be a better draw in Atlanta than Georgia Tech - UConn. GT - UConn is only on ESPN U, which cable here doesn't get.

Great comeback by BC. They looked horrible in the first quarter and then got it figured out. Not sure FSU escapes tonight.

Great play call on the reverse in the Vols/Gators game. The Vols need to make something happen on offense shortly. You don't want that Florida defense to pin their ears back and lay into you and I don't think Florida is done scoring.

i am so glad ucla won. i think they will crack the top 25 in the poll this week.

my next game i will watch will be usc vs arkansas. Go USC

OU stop ucla running game and our starting WR was out after the first play and we still put up 41 points on there defense.

Great pass by Ainge there and a big drive for the Vols. They needed that one.

FSU/BC is turning into a pretty good game. Should be a fun second half.

They just said technical difficulties have prevented it. I can live with it. the Gator/Vols game is and the BC/FSU game is good enough to watch on "regular" TV. We get spoiled so easily.

Really stupid play call there. I love the innovative coaches that have some guts, but there is a reason you don't go for it when it's on your side of the field. It's wreckless and it costs you games. There is a time to be aggressive, but you aren't playing NCAA '06. You are in a game against a top ten opponent with a great defensive line.

That screw up put his defense in a horrible position and he's going to pay for it with points against. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

Ok, here is what needs to happen in the Florida/Tennessee game....

Riggs gets to the one yard line and fumbles the ball. Both teams pile on top of each other trying to recover it, and fights break out. Both benches clear and they get into a huge tussle, until several Florida players pull out knives. The Vols players then grab chairs and they all beat themselves up into blood pulps. Everyone who survives are then banned by the NCAA for the rest of the season, and the best season of college football history then begins.

So, Tech fans, any speculation on why Ball is in the hospital?

I've heard two different sources reported; one migraine headaches, one a stomach virus. No even remotely official word yet - apparently he was in last night but word didn't break about it until pretty close to game time.

Fresno vs. Oregon looks like it'll be a good finish. Heading into the 4th it's 27-30 Oregon.

yeah. Kiwanuka is amazing. Guy really should go top-10 in the draft next year. for people not watching I'd compare him to like I dunno...Jevon Kearse? big rangy DE with a non-stop motor basically. i think he's like 6-7 285 or something like that (just off the top of my head, not too sure what he ACTUALLY is)

BC has to find a way to shutdown the FSU offense on this drive, break them out of their rhythm or whatever. The 4-wide is starting to kill them.
