we'll see. I'm not worried about the Pats pass defense long-term though. Let samuel get fully back into the game...let merriweather get a couple games under his belt at nfl speed and we'll see

They moving the Bills player (Everett I think his name is) off in an amulance. As of now, I've seen no movement. He didn't move during the time he was loaded into the ambulance. No fist pump or thumbs up.

Kevin Everett is the full name. Get well soon kid.

That looked really bad, too. His entire leg got twisted around. Could be ankle, knee, anything/everything in between. Not looking good for him.

EDIT: They said he has been walking around the sideline so maybe it's not too bad.

I feel bad for Damon Huard, though. He finally gets the starting job like he should have 7 years ago, but it's basically an impossible situation. The team sucks and the coach is just itching to find a reason to give the job to Croyle..

If teams give Tom Brady that much time every day, we're going 16-0.

Keep giving Brady time.... he's starting for me this week.

I'm loving the Dolphins being up 7-3 at half, especially since I went with my fave team's D this week.

Is there a website where I can catch what remains of the Phins game?

This pass protection is crazy.. people who are saying that moss won't be a factor are also crazy...

Brady has all day to pass and he's just throwing it up for Moss to catch.

Bah, Fins are now down 10-7. They really need to win now, as I sit across from an obnoxious Patriots fan at work. It'll be a miserable week if the Fins lose.

I figured it would take Brady several more games to be able to make the throws he's making to his new guys.

Hard to see any parallels with how they started last year, that's for sure.

Keeping with the Broncos theme of the game, they drive right down the field until they hit the 30 yard line, then they become idioticly conservative with two runs and a screen pass. Elam misses a 50 yarder and the Bills still lead. Denver dominating the football game and losing because of a special teams error and ridiculous offense in the Bills territory. Frustrating game. Going to be REAL frustrating if we screw this up.

What's really amusing is I have Brady and the guy I'm playing this week has Moss and so far they're cancelling each other out with 21 points.

I'm currently up 62-42, which is easily the highest point total so far in the league.. the next closest team has 48 points in a tight, 48-48 fantasy game thus far.

I'm honestly expecting us to have a pretty poor season. We'll be lucky if we go 7-9... the offense is just that horrible. Now if this was Green before he got old, I'd feel better, but yeah...

Avant was just wide open for a 31 yard gain. I'm surprised how much of a part of the offense he has been today.

Just saw the Moss TD on the replay during the Eagles' game. Crazy TD. 3 Jets "covering" him.

I think I'm about as disgusted with the Broncos now as I have ever been with them. They just gave up a drive when Marshan Lynch picked up three third and longs by himself, including a TD run on 3-13. That's about as poorly prepared as I have ever seen them. Were I the coach, I'd seriously be considering firing the entire defensive coaching staff right now. That was simply pathetic. Bills 14-6.

I love the way the kid plays too. Don't misunderstand the previous post. It's not especially hard to do what he's doing out there though. When the defensive staff of the Broncos can't figure out how to stop 3rd and 10 draw plays, it makes it pretty damned easy for him.

I'm not a bills fan, just watching the game. Before today I had only seen highlights of Lynch playing at Cal. Seeing him play is a treat, though. He's quickly becoming one of my favorite non-Bears players.

Cutler's numbers aren't terrible, but he's been off on quite a few throws (even passes he's completed) and is struggling to hit his guys in stride. He was pretty damn accurate with his throws last season once he got in, I'm guessing that he has some opening day gitters.

Sheesh. Favre with a little shovel pass after evading 2 potential sacks on a busted play that converts a long 3rd down.

Then as he is being dragged down 2 plays later, he throws a little sidearm pass to his back for a nice gain.
