Vince Young is become my favorite non-Patriot player.

And Indy wins as Vince Young can't bring the Titans back.

If Steven Jackson continues to have this kind of a season, he will be atop the list of players I don't like. It's not really his fault, but it still sucks when you bank two fantasy teams on him. Plus I have Brees in one league too.

But it wasn't for a lack of trying. The receiver should have had the catch at about the 30 when it was 3rd down.

Favre now has (in 1 minute) the NFL record for wins by a QB. (As with any record he sets most likely, its only until Peyton Manning breaks it).

Let's see here. Falcons scored 3 last week, 7 today, so 10 points in two weeks.
In recent history, looks like that's the fewest points scored by Atlanta in consecutive games since they were held to a nearly as bad 13 total by Carolina & Tampa in wks 3 & 4 of 2003. The last time they actually scored this few or less looks like wks 14 & 15 of 1988 when they lost to SF 13-3 & the Rams 22-7 while winding down a 5-11 season under head coach Marion Campbell. The QB's that year (I haven't found the box scores for those two games yet) were Chris Miller & Steve Dils, the RB was John Settle, and the top receivers were Floyd Dixon, Stacey Bailey, and Ken Whisenhunt.

And in the post-game press conference for the CLE/CIN game.
Q: "Coach what do you think about the execution of your defense?" A: "I'm all for it."

Because of the six turnovers the Bengals defense got last week, it made people wacko over them. I kept hearing how it was such a good defense and that is all it was based on. Not saying I knew this would happen, but it is nice to see.

Not to mention it was 4th and 4 with time almost out. He had no chance of getting the 1st or a TD.. I thought it was just a very bad lateral attempt. |

Does anyone know if Chad Johnson has a TD today, and if he jumped into the Dog Pound like he said he would? I don't see mustard on him so I was wondering....

Things surprise you in football every week. I mean, I figured the Panthers would beat the Texans. I thought the Saints would play a hell of a lot better. But 50+ points from that Browns offense? I didn't think they could do that against a high school team. I can't ever remember looking at a score and saying WTF with as much shock as I do now. Simply an amazing score.

Bengals score and...kick off, relying on the defense that has allowed 50+ points to get the stop. Ok...

Crap, i have Jamal Lewis in two fantasy teams and for any fucking reason i decided to bench him today in both (he has over 200 yards and 1 TD today). At least Palmer is scoring well for me in one of them.

Not sure why that wasn't a fumble by Edwards. Didn't hear a whistle on the field and he was still fighting for yards.

I was wondering that - I guess it's not worth fighting over 3rd and short for and potentially losing your last time out, but it was a horrible spot in addition to the no fumble call. |

Yeah I don't get why either.

If the linebacker isn't dead, he needs to get to the sideline or back on the Browns side of the ball. Just gave Cinci a free timeout.

If the Browns blow this game, they need to blow the Dog Pound members.
