Short. He can throw the ball a billion miles deep. Having time to do with with the Falcons o-line is another matter.

The Falcons O-Line is pretty damned good. Many of Vick's sacks are generated by Vick. His biggest talent can also be a weakness when he starts running around trying to make something happen and gets sacked.

The Falcons O-Line also is a big help to Dunn and Duckett. You don't run the ball that well without a decent O-Line, even with Vick.

As for Vick, that last pass was about as good as you can throw it. Vick doesn't have to be a 65% passer to be successful. He just has to convert enough third downs (with his legs or his arm) to set the defense up for the big play. He's always capable of making it. Tonight he's made a couple, both set up TD's.

That's 100% correct...when Vick moves around, his lineman can't automatically adjust to where he's going. We gave up a lot of sacks at VT when he was here too, but had a very good collegiate line.

If the Eagles keep getting that Westbrook-Brooking matchup, it's going to be tough to keep up with them.

The Falcons O-line did a horrible job pass blocking, and anyone who watched more than 3 games the Falcons played last year can tell you that. Some of Vick's sacks are him being cute, but many sacks come from the D-line being on top of him before he even gets his three step drop. They can zone block for rushing, but what helps more is so many d-lines spread out to contain Vick. Watch the St.Louis playoff game last year and you'll see what I mean.

Maybe the line will do a better job this year. On that throw to Jenkins he had more time than I remener him ever seeing last year. This will be their second year with Gibbs, so it may click with them.

Your scenario doesn't reflect what happened...he wasn't tip-toeing the sideline, he was headed out of bounds at a 45 degree angle. Contact didn't occur until he was out. The guy shouldn't have touched him or he chanced a penalty.

That shot from the back clearly showed his hand went forward (and the defender would have never touched the ball of it hadn't). Doesn't matter now, though.
