This Florida LSU game is UGLY so far. Both teams look rusty, the officiating hasn't been very good, the coaching has been lackluster, and alread there have been 3 turnovers.

Dola, make that 5 turnovers so far. Watching this game as an LSU fan so far is some kind of torture.

Its a good thing Florida isn't that great of a top 5 team, otherwise they would be up by a lot more right now. The LSU playcalling has been horrid, the execution has been horrid, and all kinds of calls and bounces have gone against us. I need to go find a tree at halftime.

WVU plays ugly, giving up 134 penalty yards, but still wins 42-14 over MSU. Lack of discipline will kill us against a good team, as in this game, it gave MSU a ton of extra downs/chances.

Steve Slaton was workmanlike with over 200 yards rushing + receiving.

Do you seriuosly belive Arkansas wouldn't get blown out right now if they played again? Mustain wouldn't prevent USC stomping them.

and.... it looks like Florida is about to break this one open.

I'm still not overly impressed by the Gators, but they have definitely made the most of their opportunities.

That's about right, except you can probably throw Florida in there as not over-rated. The two best SEC teams are the ones playing right now.

I must really hate myself to keep watching this LSU team today. So much is going wrong for a team that is 100x better than this, its ridiculous.

Problem for Florida is they still have games at Auburn, vs. Georgia (at Jax) and at Florida State left, as well as the SEC Title Game if they get there..

What if they lose only one game all season? WIth this schedule, they may deserve a title game bid, but may not get it..

Not quite John Elway or Joe Montana. You or I could've hit the receiver in that second pass. W I D E Open.

I suppose today is SEC West Self Distruction Day.

Meanwhile GT just missed a FG try, still down 20-14 vs Maryland midway thru the 3rd.

CBS produces a much prettier College Football Broadcast than ABC/ESPN.. Better picture, more or better positioned mics around the stadium..

It's on most of the Fox Sports Channels, and if you have DirectV it is on 95 in HD.

Looks like GT is mounting a comeback against Maryland. Ball just ran one in and the Maryland lead is down to 3 early in the fourth quarter.

Rutgers is a decent team. In the 21-40 range probably, but I don't know if they are a legit top 20 team tho. There is a lot of parity in CFB now tho, so who knows. I would put Pitt in the decent category too.

How about the ABC guy..."I always thought the ball had to go BACKWARDS to be a fumble..."

Dude...I learned when I was like five that a lateral can be fumbled.

GT leads, but just missed another short FG. Maryland ball with 3:30 left, Tech leads 27-23.

Tech's missed another FG, but that after two touchdowns, and GT's up 27-23 with around three minutes to play... Maryland has the ball on the 20 after a miss off the crossbar on a 27-ish yarder.

As a football fan, is there anything worse than a 4-6 point lead with 2 minutes to play?

You know they can't tie it with a FG, but a TD pretty much ends the game.

Should be a good finale to the USC-UW game.

Maryland 57 yard completion... first and goal from the seven, under 1:10.
